The sun shone through the musty stacks of partchment and quills as Riley walked slowly through the store. Her cloak billowed out from her, her hood still drawn to hide her face. She ran her hands along the sheets of paper as if she was able to already see the words that would be written there. The sound of the bell as more customers came in did not draw her from her dreamlike haze.

Snape had come to Hogsmeade he had come to get some items & one of them would be needed at Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop, as he entered one did not miss the smell that lingered with the place but, it was not overly bad. As he glanced around the place he saw some one but, did not take note of who they where & at the moment he was not here to meat people he just needed some items & then leave but, who knew any more what would happen. He moved to the counter at the fount where he could ask for the items it would not take long to place the order & he decided just to have it sent to Hogwarts

Riley noticed a box of partchment on the top shelf, the same kind she had been using for the past ten years. As she looked up at the box, her hood fell away to reveal a fair face. She stood up on her tip toes and gently reached for the box, however she didn't notice that other papers were stacked ontop of it farther back. The box fell down along with the other papers, scattering them everywhere, making the air be filled with the whizzing noise as the papers cascaded down surrounding her.
Blushing, Riley bent down, being careful not to crumple any of the paper. The box and the papers she wanted was still intact thankfully but she felt horrible for the other pieces of partchment. She slowly picked up the pieces, gingerly placing them in a stack next to her.

Snape had just finished with the order he needed & paying for it when he heard the sound of something falling & with it the dust that was sent up into the air. He had turned to look in the direction of the sound to see Riley picking up the parchments on the floor, he had though it would have been faster & more effected if she had but, use magic to clean it up.
And of course with him being him, it would not last that he would not make the note on it his eyes flickered on her before he spoke “Would it not be simpler & faster to use a spell for that, after all we are not in the muggle world nor is it illegal to use such spells”
He was being a jerk but, what else did she expected form him, after all she had not been in his house & he had his rep to keep.

Riley looked up, upon seeing one of her old professors, Professor Snape. Though when she looked at him she held no fear in her eyes towards him, and she didn't think his words cruel. Maybe it was because she often did things the muggle way that her actions were commented on so frequently, that she no longer took notice.
"Being surrounded by people who use magic constantly to pick up their messes I took the liberty to do what I want. You shouldn't be so quick to scold others Professor Snape, I could have just left the partchment lying on the ground." Riley smiled warmly at Professor Snape, the box of partchment in her arms.

Snape could tell she did not fear him, why he did not know since he made all the students that where not in his class have a hard time & to see some one now not have any fear form him that he could see set him on edge.
“It is not in my nature not to scold & you should know that. Yes, I can see you did what you wanted in the manor you wanted” He was not sure what to make of her smile perhaps it was to off set him but, he did not return it.

Riley laughed, "well then how miserable you must be! Always scolding people one would think you were full of pride."
Riley bent down and picked up the stack of papers. She noticed an empty box where the partchments were suppossed to be in and neatly tucked them in. She turned to look at her old Professor a warm expression on her face.

How was it she could set him on edge so but, she did her actions & words at least her first ones if she had still been one of the students at Hogwarts he would of made there life hell, not that he did not when she was there but, more so. "Miserable hardly & there is nothing wrong with pride though it does not have to be pride that makes one, scold some one in some action they do"

"No, frankly it doesn't. Scolding really has nothing to do with anything except perhaps trying to reinforce a certain way you want others to see you. Or, trying to arrive at a certain target behavior in the people you are scolding, though little children are more apt to respond favorably than young adults." Riley stated as she put the partchment back on the shelf.
"How is your scolding keeping you these days at Hogwarts, Professor?" Riley asked him still smiling.

There was not missing her words, though threw his years few that he had been in his class ever wished to speak with him let alone deal with him & he was fine with the idea, in the end a 3rd of them where children still to him & they acted no better so he treated them as such.
Though with Riley he did not miss her last words ether “I am the same as ever at Hogwarts” In the end, he was not about to change his ways of teaching even with the war being over, it had no very on his ways of teaching or acting around the students.

"I am glad then to see that your composure suits you so very well. One can't be disatisfied if you were to stop your scoldings, how the new students would be upset if you brought them down to even one degree!" Riley laughed, her eyes shinning.
"Though, I do hope you still remain the potions Professor. For you taught a very fine lecture and I learned many things from you."

Snape did not miss her words though he was not as cold this time as he spoke "The students might be upset with my scolding them but, they never speak about it & least not in frount of me" Since that was a very stupped thing to do. "I am the potions Professor still, I taught well for those that where willing to lisen & learn form me"

"I'm glad." Riley gently moved to push her hand against his arm.
Riley turned her head, a small smirk playing on her lips. "Are you not going to inquire how I am doing? It is only natural for one to do so after they themselves have been addressed to return the favor."

Snape was surprised when she moved to push her hand against his arm, something that few indeed would have tried. His eyes had flickered for a moment to her hand before looking at her, as if to figurer her out. He did not miss her last words, he smirked “Normal it matters little to how people are doing, unless there welling might affected my work. So how are you doing Riley”

Riley laughed, "I am doing well. Haven't gotten into too much trouble since I left. Still trying to decide what to do with the rest of my life though."
