Snape was in his potion lab going over what he would need for what was to come, he had been told that a person wished to take an Intern with him to get there Potion degree, he felt it was odd that they would seek him out after all there where others that would teach it & perhaps where not as bitter as him when it came to things.
How ever for now all he could do was wait to see if the person showed up, he glanced at the sheet with the person’s info on it; glancing over it he took note of the name. Balder Rask he though the name was familiar but, at the moment he could not place it & if she showed up he would deal with if he knew them & how his lesson would go.

Balder walked down the familiar hallways, remembering her many trips down this same one to Professor Snape's lab. She wondered if he would remember her. She hadn't changed much since she was last here, she had a fauxhawk while she was a student, and has since grown her hair out. That was about the only difference. She knocked on the door, to make sure the Professor was in already, which she knew he would be, it's just polite to knock.

Snape heard the knock his eyes flickered to the door as he spoke "Enter" He knew who it had to be or who it was suppose to be though for all he knew it could be the Head Mistress but, the odds of her knocking where rare. He was ready to start this lesson, so now all he needed was the one that wished to learn he was in his black robes as always & was wating pashently for Balder to show up.

Balder entered in as soon as he said to. "If i'm late, I apologise, i think there's something wrong with my watch." She said, taking a glance at it, before moving closer to the Professor. "I'm only slightly surprised nothing has changed since I was here last." she chuckled. |

Snape heard Balder’s words he glanced at the clock “No you are on time though, it would be best it you remained so” With her last words he glanced around the room as he spoke “I suppose there was not much that would need changed, this place if keep up does not really need to be changed because you know where things are with out having to think to much on it” Snape looked at Balder “Alright, I take it you are ready to start right away on your lesson?” Snape waited for an answer if she was he would have her start on a potion that was not over hard but, to see how she did to start.

"Good thing I have a decent memory." she said. At his question she smiled. "I'm always ready." She pulled the rest of her hair back to keep it from getting in her face.

Snape waited for her to finish with her hair before he spoke on "Very well, then brew me up the potion perrer up potion, you will find the ingredents in the store room & if you need somthing else you only need ask but, I will not tell you if you are doing right or wrong unless you do somthing that could blow up the place but, I do not see that being the case. When ever you are ready begin"

She nodded with a smile, "The only explosions i've ever made were ones I did on purpose." She said, heading to the stores to gather the ingredients. She came back a few seconds later and began immediatly.

Snape said nothing to her words, he mealy watched as she left to get the ingredients he would see how well she did with a simply potion that any should be able to brew that left Hogwarts. From there they could go over such things as where items where found or that. He watched as she started to make the potion, though it was merely a test to see if she could find the right ingredients since he wanted to see what Balder knew & where the best place to start for them would be.

She completed her potion in the usual least amount of time needed for the potion. "There, I don't think I'm too rusty on my potion making skills, I made a few potions in my free time between fishing trips." she said, stretching her arms. "Tried to make a strengthing solution on the boat in 20 foot high waves, wasn't the brightest idea i've ever had." she chuckled.

Snape listened to her words her last ones he raised an eye brow at her but, said nothing to them. “Yes it would appear that you have keep up with, brewing though with time we will see just how much & how skilled you are” Snape looked at Balder “Have you had any other professors teaching you in an inter position?” He wanted to ask to know if some one else had tough her something that might very form Hogwarts.

"No, because at first I thought i wanted to fish for crab like my dad in San Francisco, but then while I was out on the ocean for a while I realised what I really wanted to do. I want to be like you." she said. "My mom was happy about my career change, she wasn't too happy that her daughter was out doing the most dangerous muggle job."

Snape listened to her words "I see, very well I will started by giving you a list of items & your job will be to tell me there uses" And on his list there where items that where hardly used in potions, it wa in hopes that she would miss them but, only time would tell. (You can just say you read the list & passed or missed)
Snape moved over to his disk to get the list before bringing to Balder "When dealing with the field of Potions one has to know the uses of items, as I am sure you already know"

Balder scanned through the list, and listed all of their uses, passing with flying colors. "That wasn't too hard." she smiled, handing the list back to him.

Snape watched as she did the list, when done & she handed it back he could not say he was not impressed to some degree though he did not speak it or show it. "Not bad, though the next thing we will do is go out & we will see just how much you know" He knew that it would be another way to test her to know what she knew & where to really begin.
