Balder led Snape over to the dock, and boarded the only boat there at the moment. She held out her hand for him to take. "I'm going to take a wild guess that you've never been on a boat before, or even fishing for that matter." she smiled "I am hoping you know how to swim, if not I'll get the herbs myself, it's not a problem." The herbs she was talking about earlier were underwater.

Snape fallowed Balder to the dock, as they boarded the boat or more so the only boat that they really could. With her words Snape could see how Balder would think that but, then she should know as well that when one first got to Hogwarts them where on a boat not that it would be exactly the same. “I have been on a boat, though it has been some years & as for fishing I cannot say it was something I tried my hand at as for swimming yes I can swim as a Professor it was expected not that, most did not learn to do so why at school”

A man came out from the interior of the boat. "Severus, this is my father, Tyr, Dad, this is Severus Snape, I'm training under him and he's the potion's master at Hogwarts." Balder said, introducing the two. Her father nodded and held his hand out for Severus to shake. "Good to finally meet you, Balder has spoken of you frequently." he said.

Snape saw the man come out, though he was unsure who he was sense he did not know him but, he did have a feeling that it was Balder’s father. As Balder introduced him Snape knew he had his answer to who the man was, as Tyr held out his hand Snape moved to take it being sure not to grip the mans hand to hard. Though he did not miss Tyr words “It is good to meet you as well Tyr’

"Balder, i've been having trouble with the engine, it's not starting, check it out would you?" Tyr asked her.
"No problem." she said, heading into the interior of the boat and started working on the engine.
"I swear, I dont' know how that kid knows so much." Tyr chuckled. "Want anything to drink, i've got a bit of everything on here."

Snape heard Balder's fathers words, for Balder & her answer as she left to cheek the engine. He watched her leave more habbit then anything that is tell he heard the words to him, with Tyr words Snape looked at him before he spoke "I would think she learned much of it form you though perhaps, she read up on some of the things as well"

Tyr nodded and chuckled. "She really likes you, Severus." he said. A loud rumbling started, balder had gotten the engine running, she came back out, her clothes dirty. "Just needed an oil change." She said.

Snape heard his words with them he smirked "And oddly I could not tell you why, most people avoid me" With that Snape heard the rumble just before Balder came back & told them the probleme.

Tyr nodded and went into the wheelhouse. "I like you because deep inside, I know you're a good man, even if you don't see it in yourself, I can." Balder said. " I heard the conversation. When everyone was against you, I believed in you, and I will always be on your side." she then blushed, " then there's also the fact that you're very handsome."

Snape heard Balders words "Many are still against me & that is not likly to chance, any time soon" Snape smirked "And now I see you flater me with such words Balder" He really could not say more on that becouse for most of his life, he did not see him self being what she said. Perhaps in some ways he could but, it was still hard to think of.

Snape could not say he liked being put in the spot at any time really, for in many ways it did not turn out well for him. With her words he listened before he spoke "You got your self in the house Balder, though I am glade I could help you in potions as much as I did. And there is no reason for you to give your life for mine, when you still have yours but, to live"

Snape could not say he liked being put in the spot at any time really, for in many ways it did not turn out well for him. With her words he listened before he spoke "You got your self in the house Balder, though I am glade I could help you in potions as much as I did. And there is no reason for you to give your life for mine, when you still have yours but, to live" " if the world was the way I wanted, we would be together." she said, putting on a diving suit. She wanted him to make the next move . |
