Deran could feel her tense up when she was away from him and he smiled. As she had reached for her wand he had managed to put the books away.
"Well, you still have school and frankly that is really important at the moment. So....I can take you back there and hang out, I'm sure the Head Mistress won't mind me being there, after all I add more protection to the place....not magically but physically." Deran smiled knowing that his casting ability was not the best.
"Or, we can do whatever you want to do, seeing how I owe you for the rest of your life and at the moment I want to do whatever makes you the happiest." Deran smiled into Cally's eyes.

Cally considered what he had said and smiled slightly amused with the idea of him owing her for "life". At the mention of school, Cally rolled her eyes, her grades had dropped in the past two years and she had managed to skip out on almost all of her classes in rebellion and as a result of the heartache she had felt. "I'm kinda not allowed back at school until I," Cally paused and smiled "find something appropriate for a young witch to wear to class." Cally smiled innocently mocking her professors stern tone. "However I am sure I have something of the sorts in my trunk at the school."
"I like this whole rest of my life thing..." Cally said slowly looking up into his eyes. "Any chance of extending how long my life will be exactly?" Cally said this jokingly but her words held a tone of seriousness as she was truly interested by what Deran might say.

Deran chuckled. "Well, apparently school has changed on the basis of what one can wear to class."
Deran looked at Cally. He had thought about it and after what he thought to be losing her once he couldn't bear to go through it again. It was her decision really but he wanted to make sure that she knew what she was getting herself into. And he also needed to make sure that she would change because of love and even then, Deran would have to think about his clans values. "In your mortal life, and if you decide to go on then I owe you nothing except the enjoyment of reexperiencing life again for eternity with you."

Cally smiled sheepishly, her cheeks flushing a pale shade of pink as the blood rushed to her face. "No," she started slowly trying to pick her words carefully. "The standards haven't changed..." Cally smiled up at Deran. "I may have just taken a wee bit of liberty in stretching the rules and creating my own...." Cally paused then added quickly, "for some reason, short skirts and see through lace tops aren't accepted with knee high heels is not an accepted outfit for class time.." Call trailed off blushing again.
Cally considered his words for a while not moving from his side. There were so many things to consider, like when she'd actually want to turn, the fact she would probably never have children, never grow old. But at least she could just let her family think she was dead so she would never have to deal with them again. Cally sighed after a moment. "Well then the 'rest of my life' you are talking about won't be very long at all, and you'll be out of debt to me sooner rather than later," Cally joked smiling up at him, but it was true, she would want to change before she started looking or being older than him in any way shape or form.

Deran laughed, "If you were around back in the 1500s your attire would give all the ladies a heart attack I'm sure."
Deran looked at Cally a slight smile on his face. "Ah, I'm sure we will discuss it more when the time comes. I just know I don't ever want to lose you again, and that includes being immortal for the rest of your life, it's worse then being dead, especially when you aren't in love and being loved in return. I can still die, so I don't want you to give up your humanity just for me, if you remember I do have a bounty on my head." Deran looked at Cally as if this fact didn't phase him the slightest.

Cally smiled up at him. "It probably would have gotten me in a bit more trouble than that." Cally paused thinking, she wasn't much into history, but the different time periods did interest her, and well Deran had been there so he would be able to tell her if it was true of not. "Didn't the ladies in the 1500's have to cover all their skin except hands and from the neck up?" Cally questioned quietly. "I no undoubtedly would have been stoned if not flogged for what I wore to that class. I mean the professor was right in telling me I was inappropriately dressed, but it was more how he approached the topic." Cally made a face at the memory, she didn't like being called a slut or said she looked like a slut by anyone, much less a professor. And especially since that day she had felt like causing a scene, as normally the small Ravenclaw dressed very well.
Cally stood up as he spoke brushing her long hair away form her face again out of old habit. "Well why else would a give up my humanity," She questioned confused. "It would to be with you forever Deran, and in respect to you having a bounty on your head.." Cally paused smiling innocently. "Ye should be more afraid of what I will do to you should you ever leave again no matter the circumstances without taking me with you." The brunette smiled. "To put it simply I can't live without you." Cally paused. "I love you Deran, and I hope you feel the same, because if you do I want this more than anything."
Cally gathered her purse off the ground and swung it over her shoulder after making sure all of her belongings were inside. "Shall we get going and see where we end up?" Cally asked as she headed for the front door of the book store. "Or have ye something else in mind?" Cally paused her Scottish accent thick as she spoke softly. As Cally got outside, the sun was starting to peak out from behind the clouds making the outside world much brighter than inside. Blinking Cally allowed her eyes fully adjust to the different lighting before looking around and surveying her surroundings.
To the left of where she stood there was a robe shop and to the right was the cauldron shop. Neither was overly exciting and both looked dead of customers. Looking across the road, Cally noticed the ice cream shop and a few people whom were inside or around it. Cally noticed blonde hair she felt she knew from somewhere, but who she couldn't place. Perhaps it was someone she had see around Hogwarts? But how? Student trips to Diagon Alley were not permitted by students unless specifically told otherwise by a professor or the Headmistress.

Deran smiled thinking back to the 1500s. "Well, it depended where you were, but a lot of the ladies wore square necklines, so they could be revealing. It really depended on how much money you had, your position in society, your marital status and age."
Deran laughed slightly as she talked about the Professor more. As to her mention about only wanting to turn because of him, he felt a pang in his heart. He was honored to be the reason but he didn't want her to have to suffer if she had to spend eternity without him there.
Deran turned and lifted Cally up, kissing her quickly on the nose. "And I love you too, Lady Cally, ever so much!" Deran twirled her around before putting her back down on the ground. He looked into her eyes and jokingly stated, "Though what would our dear parents say? We might have to elope!"
Deran didn't know what his parents would think, but they were very firm believers in love in that it rose above all else. Deran looked up and noticed the girl across the street as to being a student from Hogwarts. "Well, how about we get some ice cream? I'm famished." Deran smiled at Cally, he knew one of the workers always kept a frozen ice cream in the back that was made magically out of blood to look like ice cream.

Cally nodded her head slowly as he spoke thinking back to her text books and trying to remember the faces of the women she had seen in the section of the 1500s. Granted a text book could never give her te full understanding of what the time period was really like, but at least it was a window into the past.
Cally smiled as Deran kisses her nose, giving a small squeal of glee as he twirled her around. Cally had not been this happy in what felt like forever. The girl feared that fate would eventually take Deran away from her again, however, she was going to do everything in her power to keep that from happening. "In the respect of my parents," Cally started slowly, "they can kiss my white arse." She smiled sheepishly. "Do you think your parents would approve of our relationship?" Cally asked interested in the idea of talking about his family - a topic that was rarely touched on.
"Ice cram sounds great, Cally said with a smile staying close to him as she started to walk across the street and into the parlor. As they got close to the sop, Cally could make out the features of the other girl in the shop, recognizing her as another Hogwarts student. Cally raised a questioning eyebrow, how had she got away from the school. Staying with Deran Cally didn't speak to the other girl, she didn't know her well, only knowing of her from what she saw in the common room, but she knew the girl was a Slytherin,

Deran L Kieler _____________________________________________________________ I am the darkness. I watch silently. I kill for them. I die for you. _________________________________________________________________ Speech: Deran smiled and he followed Cally to the ice cream shop. He noticed the other girl from Hogwarts leaning up against the wall and he chuckled remembering how often he had snuck out. He nodded in acknowlegment of her presence before continuining inside.
Deran looked at Cally and laughed when she mentioned her parents. "Ah, your rebellious side has come out!" Deran winked at Cally.
At the mention of his family, Deran furrowed his forehead as he thought about what they would think on the matter. "Well, they wouldn't be too happy that I would have to turn a human, it goes completly against my clan's foundation, but I'm sure I can find a way to do it without breaking the heriatage." Deran said looking down at his braclet, knowing he was going to have to look at the family scrolls and history later.
Deran smiled as he continued. "Though, if there was one thing my parents strongly believed in, it was love. Love rose above all else, so I think they would be very happy. In fact if they were here they would probably be so joyful my mother would already be planning our wedding, my sister taking you every place imaginable, and my father adding an installment onto the house where we could reside." Deran laughed as he thought about it, trying to ignore the painful memories as he thought about them.

Smiling innocently at Deran's comment about her rebellious side, Cally gave a small shrug. "Perhaps, but 'tis more the fact that I'll never have to go back to their home again. I will never have to have my father hit me or grab me again." Cally smiled at the thought. "I can never have anything more to do with them should that be my choosing". Caleigh smiled to herself, never seeing her father again would be a good thing.
"We could have someone else turn me if it's going to go against everything you stand for," Cally said slowly, thinking aloud. "That way I still get to be with you forever, and you don't break your clans values- but it's up too you." Cally gave an a small smile up at Deran hoping she was making sense.
Wrapping an arm around Deran's waist as he spoke about his family, Cally couldn't help but smile. "Our wedding hunh?" Cally mused allowed her tone cheerful at the thought, but she wouldn't dare bring up the topic otherwise. As she was about to say soemthing else, Cally heard someone say her same.
Jumping slightly, Cally turned to see who had spoken her name. "Becca," Cally replied in greeting, sounding slightly confused but polite at the same time. Not knowing her standing with the Slytherin girl, Cally wasn't sure what to say, she herself had kept away from crowds and people in the past three years, and Cally was surprised anyone even remembered her name. "What are you doing off Hogwarts grounds?" Cally knew the question was lame, she herself knew everyway to get off the grounds, it wasn't that hard anymore, but she honestly didn't know what else to say.

Deran L Kieler _____________________________________________________________ I am the darkness. I watch silently. I kill for them. I die for you. _________________________________________________________________ Speech: Deran smiled sadly when Cally mentioned her family beating her. "Well you will outlive them anyways, so you beat them in the longevity area." Dearn joked, trying to make the mood light.
He listened to her other words. "Hmm, that is possible but I think I would want to do it myself. Just have to look over the scrolls sometime, there is always a loop hole. Yes, why you don't want to get married?"
Deran noticed the other girl and he smiled at her. He noticed the slight tension between Cally and Becca and he wondered if it was because of their houses at Hogwarts. Deciding to break what could turn into a fight, Deran stated. "Hi Becca. I'm Deran, Cally's boyfriend. Nice to meet you. I would invite you to join us for ice cream, but it seems like you beat us to it." Deran offered his hand to the girl.

Cally frowned as she thought about her family, "It's not a matter of outliving them,' she said softly. "It is more, i just never want to see my dad's face again. He changed after mum died, and honestly my step mother is nothing to me..." She trailed off shrugging. "They can beat me all they want, it's just bruises, but they won't break who I am or change what I believe in."
Smiling as Deran said that he wanted to be the one to change her, Caleigh felt butterflies in her stomach as she got excited about her future with Deran. "I never said I didn't want to get married," Cally said simply. "You've just yet to ask for my hand." Smiling deviously Caleigh gave him a playful nudge with her elbow as they walked into the Ice cream shop.
Standing next to Deran as he introduced himself, Caleigh couldn't help but smile as he introduced himself as her boyfriend. Staying by his side, Cally smiled too at the other girl who had only sighed her name in greeting. She wasn't about to get in any fights, but Cally just honestly hadn't been much of a social butterfly in the past years, and didn't know what had been said about her, or what this other Hogwarts girl thought of Cally.
