Pressing back into Deran as he came up behind her, Cally gave a small laugh. "That was cheesy even for you Deran," she said before turning to look up at him. With a small smile, Cally reached up and placed a kiss on Deran's lips before springing backwards and swimming away. Her heart was growing lighter as she spent more time with Deran, the shadows receding so it was almost as if she could breath again, but Cally knew it would never be safe for her to be around people anytime soon.
"So what else do I need to know about your past mr. tall dark and handsome," Cally asked as she surfaced some distance away from Deran. "What has changed now that I am a vampire?"
