"Backbird singing in the dead of night...
Take these broken wings and learn to fly..."
Emmy whispered in her slow, singsong voice as she snaked around the corridors. For being the the so called forbidden corrider, she was really quite bored to be honest. She'd been through this exact same hallway so many times she'd memorized it. The walls, the bricks that made up the walls, even the barely noticeable stains that were worn into the dusty isolation. Sometimes she felt like just fracturing them, breaking brick after boring brick into tiny dust motes and getting out of here. But this was here dream school, what she had wanted since the day she moved out of her parents house -Well, not really house, more like 4 story mansion- This was half of the reason she was what she was, and she was not just going to excuse that fact and leave, she was going to fulfill her dream whether she liked it (And she didn't) or not.
The Slytherin vampire rested her back and head against the equally hard wall, looking around the dark corridor with sharp, golden eyes. She had refused to drink human blood, and this was the result. A type of diet she had chosen after coming across a few others like herself. She couldn't drink human blood while she was here, not if she didn't want to explode in a hungry rage. She felt that her animal blood was what kept herself sane, away from hurting others. That, and the fact she almost completely ignored anyway her came across her. She sighed and sunk to the ground, her head in her hands now as she thought about her forever 16 life.
