Aldar sat in his office. The ministry was silent except for the stationed guards. He knew the ministry could be a possible target, it was one before. The Dark Lord had actually been able to take over and appoint his own minister. Aldar didn't want something like that happening again. Not that he cared about his own personal safety, but he wanted the people to know the truth on things that of course could be known.
Aldar had sent for an old acquaintance right after Rigoletto had left him. He didn't really trust the man all too much, but he knew someone that could infiltrate into any type of building and find out information. Aldar sat on top of his desk, as he looked at the figurines laid out on the floor. Puzzle pieces laid scattered from one of the puzzles he had been working on. He knew there was a piece missing, he gave it to someone long ago, and soon they would be here to give it back.

Reniara had avoided all the guards, not because Aldar had instructed her to do so, but because she wanted to see how bad the security was here. After being mini tested, Reniara concluded that the security was pretty much nonexistent.
Reniara took the elevator, leaning against the wall, her hands stuffed into her pockets. She was wearing her outfit from earlier, the blood-stains removed from the dress jacket. Reniara pulled out the tiny white puzzle piece, something which only a couple hours earlier had turned to the color red. When she was at the party, she noticed the color change, and knew that Aldar had activated the message by cutting himself and dripping it on the other puzzle pieces, turning her peice red as well.
Reniara could only guess as to what Aldar wanted from her, but she knew it would most likely be worth it. After all, she had taught Aldar some of her own tricks, so he would be able to take care of himself when she wasn't around. After a couple of minutes she arrived at his office door. She opened the door slightly, catching sight of him through the tiny crack. She flung the puzzle piece towards him, as she opened the door, walked into the room, and then closed and locked the door again.
She noticed the figurines on the floor and the scattered puzzle pieces. Reniara smiled, turned towards Aldar and asked him. "Second word of your favorite book." She knew they had to take precautions, even if she could already tell it was really Aldar.

Aldar saw the white puzzle piece fly through the air, whizzing towards his head. The first trick Reniara pulled on him to get his attention when they met at one of her fake parties to assassinate one of the guests. He knew it was her, and smiled when she walked into the room. There she was, always dressing in suits. He knew it would be a death wish to ask her to wear a dress or a skirt.
Aldar smiled as she asked him the coded question. "X" Aldar quickly replied. Of course he had never read a favorite book with the second word as X, it was however, the middle inital of his adopted father, who owned a bookstore. "How was the party? I hope I didn't interupt." Aldar smirked guessing that Reniara had just come back from one of her jobs.

Reniara leaned against the door, her arms crossed over her chest. "Uneventful as usual. I'm glad you contacted me, I've been able to have a glass of wine while I'm doing the job. It's getting too easy, Aldar, so you better have something good for me to do."
Reniara tapped her elbow as she looked around the room. "I see you have adapted well to your new position and surroundings. Like the figurines, looks like you're the only one who is missing in that little collection, as usual." Reniara smiled. She knew that both Aldar and her wanted to go virtualy unnoticed, something they were both pretty good at.

Aldar laughed, "You would have a glass of wine the first time I met you." Aldar looked at the figurines, "They are a lively bunch aren't they? Have everyone out there except me and you, Reniara." Aldar jumped down from his desk, walking over to Reniara.
"You see, being the Minister, it's harder to go off unnoiticed. I need someone, so to speak, to be my eyes and ears. I trust that you can do that for me? I will have you as a ministry worker, but on the side you will also be the defender of this place, of this world. I also hope you were able to get into the Order?" Aldar smiled, his head cocked to his side as he studied Reniara.

Reniara pushed herself off the door, and walked up to Aldar, her face an inch away from his. "Are you doubting my abilites, Aldar?" Reniara sarcasticaly stated.
Reniara stepped back, giving them both more space. "Of course I got in the Order. It's not like I'm one of them you know, a Death Eater that is. I kill people like them. I already had this conversation with Snape, I really don't want to have it again. But yes, I will gladly be your eyes and ears, Aldar. As a friend of course, you don't have to pay me for my services, I'm already getting paid as a ministry worker, correct?" Reniara picked up one of the figurines, she glanced at the bottom and recognized Aldar's markings. The figure she was holding was the leader of the DE, Reniara smiled, restraining herself from crushing the figurine.

Aldar didn't move when Reniara approached him, instead he stared at her with his lopsided grin on his face. He chuckled as she pretend to be angry with him. At the mention of Snape, Aldar raised his eyebrows. He waited until she was finished with explaining everything and listened patiently to her questions. "Of course you will be paid as every ministry worker is, But not paying you for your services as an assassin, are you out of your mind?"
Aldar put his hand in his back pocket, his eyes glinting in the darkening room. "You, of all people, talked to Snape? What did you tell him?" Aldar looked at Reniara questioningly, did, from the last time he saw her, did Reniara lose it?

Reniara glared at Aldar, "No, I'm not out of my mind, Aldar. You're just taking me to better and higher places that's all. I'm going to get what I wanted all along."
Reniara put down the figurine. "Yes I talked to Snape. I told him what I tell everyone else. The poor little orphan story, not fitting in at school, having to kill people to survive. Yes, I told him everything. The whole thing, and he fell for it. I even told him that he was my role model." Reniara laughed.
"Aldar, you're the only person I've met so far that hasn't fallen for it. Maybe it's because you did the same thing I did. Maybe we were born to do this. The organization you know was tough, but it made us both stronger. If we wanted to, we could even run the place, we already got rid of everyone else. Though, that's not our goal. No, trust no one, not a single person." Reniara, her hand balled up into a fist, jabbed the air, a victorious smile eteched arcoss her face.
No, the things she told Aldar were only somewhat true. She had meant some of the things she had said to Snape, but she couldn't believe anything. Words had a way of working their way into your mind, so you begin to believe almost anything. She had been trained for this, to block her mind off from everything else. She had been trained to carry the legacy, to rid the world of all that stood in her way.

Aldar laughed, "I'm glad I could be of service to you then. Nice, so then he passed the test as well, how convenient. Not that we will be needing him that much, but he has a point of information. Also, if he passed your test then that must mean the leader of the DE has him close by, to watch him."
Aldar smiled at Reniara, excitement in his eyes. "Yes, we did destroy the place didn't we. I'm glad I came at the right time, and that you had a plan in mind. Thank you for doing that, I still owe you. Have you been able to remove the scar yet?" Aldar asked concern creeping through his voice. It was only because of Reniara's cunning planning and lying abilities that he was able to get out of the organization without so much as a scratch. He wasn't branded like her, something that ruined her whole life.

Reniara didn't have to look in the mirror to know that the white scar on her back was still there. The white lines that resembled a dagger, stretching across the middle of her back. She had gotten a tattoo on her the inside of her left wrist, resembling the dagger, but with flowers over it, symbolizing the death of the organization by her hands.
Reniara sighed, "No, but it's fine. Not a lot of people lift up the back of your shirt to check to see if you're marked. The DE have it worse off, which of course makes it easier for us." Reniara raised her eyebrows unsure whether Aldar wanted her to leave or not.

"True. Now, seeing how we will be in contact with each other a lot, I want you to keep the puzzle piece, for emergency purposes, if you need back up, or if I do." Aldar crossed over to his desk pulling out a sheet of paper.
"Also, I want you to find someone for me. I know you understand what it is for, so be prepared, Reniara." Aldar crookedly smilled, filling out the paper in his scratchy handwritting. He handed it to Reniara, along with her puzzle piece.
"I'll see you later. Sadly, I will still be here, behind this boring desk, so try not to take a long time." Aldar smiled at Reniara, turned and walked back to the figurines on the ground, sitting down on the balls of his feet to play with them.

Reniara nodded, and took the document and the white puzzle piece. When Aldar turned to go back to his figurines, she left the room. It wasn't until she had gotten an appropiate distance away that she looked to make sure she knew who Aldar wanted her to find. Yes, it was there, in black ink, Severus Snape. Reniara sighed, slipped it into her pocket, and headed out of the ministry. Something told her that what was going to come, wouldn't be the most joyful experience she ever had.
