Snape was in his home in his chair once more reading over a book or at least trying to his eyes might have been on the book but, his mind was thinking more on what his feelings where towards Reniara he questioned why he though more on it now then before & perhaps he knew the answer he just did not want to think on it. Some where inside him he cared for her but, he did not know if it could become anything great such as a love like she was wanting.
On top of that he had to find out what Alexis thoughts where on Reniara, true she was old enough to be on her own but, he wanted her to feel welcome still with in his home & not that she was not welcome or wanted a round.

Reniara walked across Snape's yard quickly and went through the back door. It was becoming easier to sneak into his house unnoticed but she knew she couldn't get soft. In fact she enjoyed the tiny thrill of going somewhere no one else knew about except the Snape's.
Reniara walked into the house, the sunlight peeking through the windows. She poked her head into what she had deemed to be Severus' favorite room and walked in and nodded her head. He seemed deep in thought and she decided not to say anything so she wouldn't interupt him.

Snape had been thinking, when he though he heard the back door open his instincts where alert as always, though since the wards that keep his home safe did not reacted to the person that entered he knew it could really only be one of two people & if for some reason it was not he would be ready to fight.
Though he heard the light sound of moment & knew that it came form one that was walking, his eyes glanced up to insure who it was that had come in to see Reniara “I take it that you where given time off once more or do other reasons bring you here?” He was more sure it was the first but, he wanted to insure that if she had other reasons for coming though he figured if that where the case she would of called him into the Ministry or that. “I take it; you still are working ever so on keeping your skills as keen as ever”

Reniara smirked, "Hello to you too."
She sat down in her usual chair a smile on her face. "Eh...Aldar is off doing whatever he does again, and he told me to take a little time off for myself. Said something about life being too short. So, figured he meant to go somewhere where I like to be, so I naturally came here."
Reniara leaned forward. "Keen as ever. We have this training starting where we attack each other without warning, so I'm always on the look out. And, I had a couple of jobs the past couple of days in the muggle world so not a least bit rusty. In fact I think I've gotten stronger, because I was awfuly bored."
Reniara looked at Snape, her eyes shinning. She was going to ask him what he was thinking about, but decided it was best not to bring it up. "By the way does Alexis know what I do or really did for a living?"

Snape smirked at her first words “Hello indeed,…..For give me for not speaking a proper hello to you Reniara” He watched her seat down, as he listened to her words “I am glade to hear you got time off” Snape eyes sparked with something that could not be read because it was gone quickly, as she had learned forward to speak. “Keen as ever?… We shall see… so who have you faced off against with these so called lessons?” Snapes was silent as he took on a more normal tone when it came to the topic “No she does not, it is not my place to tell her of such matters”

Reniara laughed silently. "Aldar mostly, he seems to be the most into it. I think we are both getting a little bored. And then a couple of the other Ministry workers but none of the really talented people. So, when I had job offers a couple days ago I couldn't resist." Reniara smirked, the jobs had gone quickly and she felt like she wasn't being tested enough. Obviously Aldar and her were playing more at detecting each other, but they both knew the only really good practice they could get was facing the DE and terminating them. Reniara noticed the glint in Snape's eyes and she wished she could bring it back again.
"Well, thanks. If I see her again I could talk to her about it if she wants. Or if she brings it up to you, I trust you can tell her about it...or really anything. She is your daughter after all." Reniara smiled.

Snape heard her word “I am sure that there is more reason then it being a game, for in the end most games of such nature at to strengthen as skill that is to be needed or at least more so needed” Snape watched Reniara before he spoke again “So who is winning these so called lessons, I would assume you but then there has to be some one that is as skill as you some where”
Snape listened to her last words “I could speak to her of it but, I will give you the chance to tell her first. Even with her being my daughter there are some things that, should not be spoken of so quick & others it is best to let others speak of it, unless it would be some one that I have a though would bring harm to her”

Speech: Reniara smiled, "Well everyone at the Ministry other than Aldar that I have fought I have beaten...but I also cheat a little by using my weapons." Reniara laughed.
"As with Aldar, we both have very unique techniques. I won't reveal his but we usually end up with one of us beating the other. Overall though we are at a draw, when you look at the duels as a whole."
Reniara nodded her head when Snape talked about his daughter. "Okay, I understand. Thanks for respecting my life. Though, did you not tell me about her before because you wanted to keep her a secret....I mean to protect her?"

Snape heard Reniara words he listened “And here I though you where one to not cheek but, then again it is your game you can play it as you choose” Though with her last words Snape could not say he was not expecting it come up but, with her last words he was thinking that perhaps Reniara could understand his reasoning. “Yes, I cannot say that when I comes to Alexis I trust many & it only grows because I know that there have been those that do not think well of me & I do not want Alexis branded the same as me or to become some ones target to get to me. And there is little I would not do if some one made move to harm her”

Speech: Reniara frowned slightly. "Well it's not that I'm cheating, I just have other skills from my past that most people don't know about or have themselves."
Reniara listened closely to Snape as he talked about Alexis. "Yeah, I understand. I hope she realizes how great of a dad she does, and I get the feeling that she does. She's a great a young woman. I also won't mention her to anyone." Reniara spoke sierecly. She didn't want Snape's wishes and hard work to be ruined, and she liked Alexis, she wanted to keep her safe as well. After all, Alexis would fill their shoes when the younger generation took their places.

“Well I suppose it only, teaches those in your lessons to be ready for anything” He looked at Reniara as he listened to the rest of her words “I thank you for not wishing to speak of it with others, I suppose she does see me as a good dad but, I am sure at times she had wished me to be there more & I find my self always trying to make up for it but, as she grows older it is not so easy to do”
Snape was silent before he spoke again “I know you asked me once to tell you if I ever felt anything for you, I can say there is something but, I has been along time since allowed my self to think on such terms & I do not know it what I feel of could feel would be what you seek. But, in the end there is more then just what I feel, I have to think of Alexis always first. True she is getting older but, I do not want her to feel that she is not welcome or that I am trying to replace her in some way, I hope you can understand Reniara”

Speech: Reniara nodded. "I understand. Familial bonds are some of the most important we have, and I don't want to come inbetween that. I will respect whatever wishes you and Alexis have. As to your feelings, I am glad you told me of them, but not knowing is okay. It is always best to know as fully as possible before making any kind of commitment." Reniara smiled at Snape.
She was glad that he had felt at least somehting for her, it was better than nothing at all. Now she knew that at least her feelings could be possibly returned, that there was hope. Her love for him though would respect and honor whatever feelings he arrived at, even if in the end he decided he had no feelings for her. _____________________________________________________________

Snape heard her words “I will speak with Alexis & find out her thoughts & feelings on the matter, it will help to give you a better answer on if there can be anything between use” He knew now he would indeed have to speak to Alexis on her feelings of Reniara & form there he would be able to decided what could be. “I am glade that you understand & I will do what I can to speak to Alexis later today but, since she had meet you very little it might take her time to decide on her full feelings about you or she may simply wish to speak with you again”
