Sky had come to the Ministry of Magic for no apparent reason...well there was a reason. He was out of Hogwarts and he needed to, according to the rest of the world, find a job and support himself. Though never having set foot in the Ministry before he wanted to see what the atmosphere felt like. He had survived up until now being a seer and a healer for various people who needed his help, but he wanted to get involved in something.
Sky wore one of his nicer outfits, but still displayed his earthy nature in the tone of his robes and outfit. He scanned the area and almost as if a habit he looked up in the midst of the various people walking past him. He fiddled with his divination beads and began to ponder the atmosphere around him. To an outsider it would appear as if he was meditating in the middle of the floor, which was what he was doing, but he was also trying to harness all the energy around him to strengthen his own ability.

(( www.polyvore.com/jamie35/set?id=25754693 - outfit))) Jamie carried a simple file under her arm as she walked swiftly towards her office, her long strides carrying her through the crowd of people easily. Her brown eyes flashed, taking in her surroundings quickly. Her wand was on her hip, and her adrenaline was still thudding through her head from catching a supposed Death Eater. Jamie knew for a fact that the woman hadn't been a Death Eater, but she had arrested her anyway. The more people arrested on her watch, the better. The fact that the woman had been very close to discovering Jamie's secret was another added bonus to her arrest. A slight smirk played on Jamie's lips as she continued through the crowd, several people stepping aside. Jamie was known to have a short temper and a faster wand, and her reputation preceded her, making several of the more knowledgeable Ministry workers step out of her way. As Jamie's strides carried her closer to the office, she had to react quickly to avoid running into a young man standing in the middle of the hallway. She brushed harshly against him, and practically snarled as she yanked away from him. "Idiot," she spat, recovering what little balance she had lost. She sneered at him, eyeing him and not recognizing him. "What is your name? What is your department? What are you doing up here?" she sneered, glaring at the young man

Sky sensed someone draw near, and was able to maintain his balance as they pushed against him, sending a wave of negative energy through him. He laughed to himself and turned, opening his eyes. He looked at the woman.
"It appears you have somewhere to be, but I guess it is expected for you to wonder about who I am." Sky stepped forward and offered to shake her hand in greeting.
"Who I am will matter little to you, as to what I'm doing here I was testing the atmosphere and energy of this place to see if I want to work here. That is all. Though my name is Sky, and you appear to be someone important. Do you like working here?" Sky smiled, trying not to ask instead if she liked anything at all.

Jamie pulled back, studying the man, and ignoring the offer to the handshake. "My hands are full," she said coldly, her lip curling slightly. She raised a skeptical eyebrow as he explained his intents to her. "Do you have permission and a visitor's pass for that?" she asked, still sneering. A few bystanders had stopped and were watching with partially amused expressions and partial apprehension written on their faces. She raised an eyebrow again at Sky as he continued his questioning. "I do believe those questions are ones you'll have to ask the Employment Opportunities, sir," she said, her voice dripping with distaste and contempt. "Down four floors, on your left," Jamie stated, looking him up and down and eyeing the beads with contempt and partial curiousity.
"You dabble in Divination?" Jamie asked, sneering slightly, but eyeing him again, sizing him up. If he could be twisted and recruited, he could be a valuable asset, providing, of course, that he was genuine...

Sky took out the pass from his pocket, a small smile on his lips. "I know very well where the employment office is, though I don't believe in doing things the standard way."
Sky laughed to her comment, "I was wondering when you were going to come to that conclusion, but you probably knew what I am before stating so. Though, I don't feel like venturing into the dark, musty corners of your mind. I'll leave it up for you to actually explore."
Sky turned his head noticing the bystanders, and noting that not one of them were of particular importance. "As for dabbling in divination, I hardly call it that. I am what I am, a translator, an encoder, as to my abilities you will have to ask others about that, that is if you can trace back my work."
Sky had been in her presence long enough to know that this woman had blocked off most of her empathy and was power hungry. Though the challenge was enticing he knew that he would never change his own beliefs for hers, but he wondered to what end or how far she would take this.
"Modesty aside, I am what other seers would call dangerous." Sky smiled knowing that this wasn't giving her any real knowledge about his abilities, to the extent of what they really were. He was the most dangerous but also the most compassionate in his work, he was able to do things many others could not, yet of course he was still developing his abilities.

Jamie's eyebrow rose into the length of hair that had been swept across her forehead as she listened to Sky's ramblings. "Dangerous," she scoffed, wanting to see how easy he was to trigger. "What do you do? Predict the deaths of people you dislike, hoping the seeings come true?" she asked dryly, smirking slightly at him. Her brown eyes gauged him, watching his expressions as she shifted closer.

Sky noticed her come closer, he had managed somehow to get her attention, a contradictory move to her scoffing at him. So, he could only conclude that she was testing him or that she really did know how dangerous he was, the extent of his ability.
Sky smirked at Jamie, "wouldn't you like to know."
Sky crossed his arms, "you really think I'm going to tell someone like you what I do? By the time you're going to ask me for help, you'll be lying on the ground your spirit torn to pieces, dying. You don't even realize that you're not even using your real power sources, you've just locked them up and it's killing you." Sky leaned back studying Jamie, her character becoming even clearer, not the least distraought about what she thought about him.
