((( www.polyvore.com/11/set?id=9877891 )))) Jamie's boot-clad legs took her swiftly towards the Minister's office. She had been summoned nearly 10 minutes before by a note from him as she had been busy going through the list of Azkaban prisoners that were now most likely freed. A small smirk her been playing on her lips until she had gotten that note. She had won, but now she had to play cover up, which was well worth it. Jamie soon reached his office and quickly tapped on the door before opening it. "You wished to speak with me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow and stepping forward...

"Would you like any refreshments at all, Ms. Smith?" Aldar turned to look at Jamie. As he waited for her answer he motioned for her to sit down, and closed the door behind her. He then opened up his drawer and took out a small group of pensieve's, and carefuly set them out on his desk. _________________________________________________________________ Tag: Notes: Outfit: Lyrics: Credits: Template made by Jess the evil Triplet

Jamie raised a silent eyebrow as she watched Aldar dance around his office. She followed him with her eyes, watching him with pursed lips before she spoke. "That depends on what the refreshments would be and who would be serving them," she said, stepping completely into the room, watching him as he shut the door behind her. Yes, she was paranoid about the idea of refreshments with the Minister. If he was on to her, he could more than easily slip veritaserum into something her served her, and Jamie was not about the let that be her downfall. If need be, she could claim her years as an Auror made her paranoid, play mind games with him and question him to see if he truly was the Minister, play stereotypical paranoid Auror.
Jamie sat down, crossing her ankles as she watched him pull out the pensieves. "You wished to speak with me?" she repeated, the eyebrow still up as she watched him...

Aldar M Silverton _______________________________________________________________ Let's play my favorite childrens game: life or death. ______________________________________________________________ Speech: Aldar noticed her hesitation in refreshments, but said nothing of it. He knew it was habit from pratically everyone to not take food, no one could be trusted these days. "Yes I did. You've failed in your duties, Jamie, as an Auror. It may not appear that I take notice to my employees duties, but I watch each one carefuly, and this hasn't been the first mark against you." Aldar sat down at his desk looking sternly at Jamie. _________________________________________________________________ Tag: Notes: Outfit: Lyrics: Credits: Template made by Jess the evil Triplet

Jamie continued to watch the Minister, stiffening in her already impeccably straight posture and beginning to look offended. "Minister, I did everything I could to get into Azkaban the moment I got the notification that the Death Eaters were trying the walls. You know as well as I do that they put up an anti-apparition spell as soon as they engaged us. Plenty of other Aurors were also stuck outside with me! We tried everything that we knew!" she protested, beginning to lean forwards towards him. "Not the first mark?" she asked, looking as though she had been slapped in the face, while in her mind, she was mentally shrugging.

Aldar M Silverton _______________________________________________________________ Let's play my favorite childrens game: life or death. ______________________________________________________________ Speech: Aldar looked sternly at Jamie, he had enough of her excuses, of her words. "I can excuse the other Auror's of this because we had people on the outside as well, Jamie. Do you think we would put all our forces into one pivotal point? No. And you weren't among the others seen there. Even if you wanted to hide yourself, you should have been there before we were engaged. The other Auror's I again can excuse, but you Ms. Smith are at the top of our ranks and if you don't respond immediatly it reflects badly on you." Aldar stood up, "the fact is is you should have been there when you first got the call. We had ample time to prepare before anything was engaged, and you were missing." He tapped the pensives, as if announcing he was done. He waited for Jamie's response. _________________________________________________________________ Tag: Notes: Outfit: Lyrics: Credits: Template made by Jess the evil Triplet

"Perhaps, Minister, if I had gotten the notice sooner, I could have been there sooner. As it was, if Delarel hadn't stopped to notify me, I would not have gotten the alert until much later! The alert system you and other departments have set up for us barely works! Is it not backwards that I was not the first to be notified, being the head of my department? If you think I am not loyal to this establishment, Minister, you are sorely mistaken. If you think I did not show at the first chance I got, you are straightup wrong in the head!! You may ask any of the other aurors! I was there and leading the efforts to get into the fight. How do you think I go to this position? By shirking from my duty and cowering? By being irresponsible and tardy, lazy and neglectful? I think not, Minister," Jamie spoke coldly. Her eyes flashed, and while she had made her defense, she had stood ulama was gripping the edge of his desk tightly.

Aldar M Silverton _______________________________________________________________ Let's play my favorite childrens game: life or death. ______________________________________________________________ Speech: Aldar found her position not even threatening, true she was the only one in the Ministry who openly detested him, their paths had crossed many times before. "What proof do you have that you were there? Of course you will defend yourself, who do you know can speak for you?" Aldar smiled. He knew that she would pick those only who feared her or were closer to her. Everyone had their own group, he had none of his own openly, and he liked it that way. _________________________________________________________________ Tag: Notes: Outfit: Lyrics: Credits: Template made by Jess the evil Triplet

Jamie straightened up before she spoke. "Ask Delarel, Vinsky, Roberts, D'Angelo! Ask anyone who was also stuck on the outside. You will see that I am not lying as your accusations suggest. Again, how did I get to this position, Minister? Think on it instead of throwing out accusations and rousing suspicions that only serve tO make you look the fool. Instead of playing with your pensieves and little glass figurines, straighten out some of system's issues, as you were appointed to, and you will see a difference in both attitudes and efficiency," Jamie said, holding back a sneer. Granted, she was the one behind some of the issues, but they couldn't be linked directly back to her, of course.

Aldar M Silverton _______________________________________________________________ Let's play my favorite childrens game: life or death. ______________________________________________________________ Speech: Aldar laughed, "I have asked them, and you're clear from their point of view. However, from these toys as you like to call them," Aldar stated as he rested his hand on the pensives, "I gathered quite different evidence." "If you don't like my methods Ms. Smith, then I suggest you find work somewhere else, though I imagine you already have. Just so you know, if anything else happens to the Ministry or it's members, the council will know how to act. Don't fret so much about the workings of the Ministry, each organization has it's own failings." Aldar smiled mockingly at Jamie, as if he knew something she did not. _________________________________________________________________ Tag: Notes: Outfit: Lyrics: Credits: Template made by Jess the evil Triplet

Jamie's lip curled as she eyed Aldar. "And just what evidence would this be?" she asked, raising a skeptical eyebrow. She smirked. "Probably nothing substantial," she commented coldly. Jamie's eyes narrowed as the Minister continued to hint around at his suspicions. "Just what are you insinuating, Silverton?" she asked, glaring at him. "If you are saying my loyalties lay anywhere but the Ministry, you're getting desperate for a culprit, and you need your bloody head checked!" she spat, looking shaken, though on the inside she was smirking. He was far from finding her secret, even though he was close.

Aldar M Silverton _______________________________________________________________ Let's play my favorite childrens game: life or death. ______________________________________________________________ Speech: Aldar revealed no emotion as Jamie continued to ramble on, his mind was made, yes, but not now. "I was merely suggesting that in the memories of your fellow Auror's you were acting a little bit off, not like your usual self. How did they put it? Oh, yes, you seemed to have softned quite a bit. Your character seemed like it lost your usual backbone and firey temper. Did you have an off day or something?" Aldar smirked. "That isn't all, your usual favorite spells weren't used during the battle, so either you were trying to practice more, or not all was right in your apparent head." Aldar put the pensives away, his evidence before Jamie, though not all that he had concluded. _________________________________________________________________ Tag: Notes: Outfit: Lyrics: Credits: Template made by Jess the evil Triplet

Jamie immediately jumped to the defense. "And just how was I soft?? Everyone that had common sense reigned in their temperament. There was no reason to lose it when you had to think logically. My favorite spells weren't used for the reason that o was busy tryin to break the Death Eaters' consolidation spells! Regardless, I have no reason to defend myself from you. You have nothing on me, and I have nothing to hide. Your idiotic accusations are based on nothing but xesparation to catch the leader of whatever gathering this is, and you pick people with powerful positions instead of opening your eyes and realizing that the leader and members could be anyone, anywhere instead of just in this Ministry. You are a blind and arrogant fool who has nothing to go on and gas decided to make equally blind and arrogant accusations. I don't know how you ever got into this position or what ever made the council and people see you as worthy of this position," Jamie spat, scorn and disgust cllear in her eyes as she stood before Aldar, 'shaking with offended rage'.

Aldar M Silverton _______________________________________________________________ Let's play my favorite childrens game: life or death. ______________________________________________________________ Speech: Aldar listened carefuly to Jamie's words, and he was careful to hide any emotion. "Are you done?" Aldar paused and sat down in his chair, his voice holding nothing in it. "I was merely stating what others noticed, Ms. Smith. I am not making accuisations against you in any way. If you have no reason to defend yourself against me, why do you lash out at me? Clearly you do have something to hide, you are afraid of me finding something out." Aldar smiled. He stood up and walked over to one of his potted plants and watered it while he continued talking, seeming non-chalant in his actions, yet underneath hid a demon who yearned to rip Jamie's heart out. Though, none of this was apparent for Aldar never let anything show. "As to my blindness and foolishness, I am blind, and I am a fool. Always have been. I frankly don't know how I was put here in the first place. If you have a complaint about my position I suggest you take it to the council. However, I don't believe I deserve your rage at an accusation that never existed." Aldar smiled sadly, as if he really was upset at her anger, though inside he was triumphant. She had let many things slip, ideas that had formed in his mind as to the other DE members, and he was sure of it now. Jamie was so caught up in concealing herself that she was strangling herself with her own web. _________________________________________________________________ Tag: Notes: Outfit: Lyrics: Credits: Template made by Jess the evil Triplet

Jamie's lip curled again as she listened to him. "Your accusations were as clear as day, Silverton! Why else would you called those memories 'evidence'? Why else would you even need the memories?? You have been questioning my loyalty since I took Dawlish to Azkaban, and I assure you that I do no appreciate it. I have nothing to hide, my loyalties belong to this establishment, and this establishment alone. Order a random search of my house, of my grounds, of my office, of my own memories, but I can assure you that you will find nothing suspicious in anything of mine," Jamie said, still cool, but nearly pleadingly, dropping her prickly and coldness to make her seem more innocent...
