Snape had returned to Hogwarts after his talk with Erin, he was not sure really what would happen next, but he though it might be wise to say something to the Head Mistress in regards to the Minister could be coming to speak with Oliver, but then again she might already know it well he though at least if he said something, then he would of at least said something encase something was brought up later.
With that in mind Snape headed up for the Head Mistress office, where he gave the password though once at the door to her office he knocked & waited for an answer.

Minerva was looking out onto the grounds, wearing her usual dress, her hair tightly pulled back. She turned gracefully when she heard the knock and opened the door. She nodded to Snape, motioning that he could come in. Minerva made her way to her desk and sat down. Everything had been put away already but the items remaining on it were orderly.
"Professor Snape, it is nice of you to stop by. But seeing how rare of on occasion that is, what would you like to talk to me about?" She looked patiently at Snape waiting for him to respond.
Teaching together for so long helped, she thought both of them, understand the other more. She noticed that he didn't seem to be anxious or out of breath when she opened the door. So, there was no present emergency. She had come to like Snape more as the years went by, and found his position in Hogwarts as a necessity. After all he was the person she trusted the most, especially since the passing of Albus.

Snape saw the door open to see Minerva, nodded to him before motioning to come in he entered, he entered as he watched her not so much for the idea of distrust just more his nature any more. He watched her seat down, though he was not so quick to fallow even with there time working together it did not change the fact that she was still above him & was his boss, though something more had grew between them when he finally did learn it was Minerva that saved him form death when left to die on the battle field though dead & to be honest he though he was as well.
At her first words he nodded lightly to her "I am not sure if you have heard, but the Minster has an interested in Professor Davidson & I am sure if they have not said anything yet they will & likely be questioning not only you, but staff as well" It was no secret or that he feared she had anything to hid, it was more she would have more to deal with then just Oliver, so it would help it & when it came down to it that things where worked out & not the games that in the passed happened between the Minster & Hogwarts.

Minerva calmly looked at Severus. She had expected in a way for this topic to be brought up. Oliver Davidson was dangerous but also not an excellent teacher in the art of magic itself. His skill level in using magic was what she considered minimal compared to the rest of the staff. But the course of action she had agreed to take seemed like the wisest choice. Denying Davidson a right to teach based purely on assumptions of his moral character when he clearly was suited for the job would only anger him more. And of course the students safety was a priority.
"May I ask where you heard this from?" Minerva waited patiently for Snape's answer.

Snape heard Minerva words "I just talked talked with a ministry worker & with that exchange of words, I just put things to gather after all why else would they ask about the man if they did not plan to ask & question others in the matter?" He did not think at the moment saying Erins name would help matters, he could be wrong on the fact they would ask anything, but he had better odds they would.

Minerva nodded. "I see. I should let you know that it was on the Minister's recommendation that Hogwarts hire Professor Davidson. I am well aware and was well aware of his morals, past history, and other wild tendencies."
Minerva paused before continuing. "If a Ministry worker is asking you about Professor Davidson then they should be directed immediatly to the Minister of Magic. However, I am not placing the responsiblity of the man on the Minister's shoulders, for I took part in accepting Davidson's presence here. I thought it would be wise with his background to keep an eye on him, which is easier at an institution rather than letting him roam the countryside free. I do understand the possible danger of having him here, but I don't believe Davidson would act in a way to jepordize his standing among the community. Word travels fast on one's character and actions in the wizarding world partly because of places like Hogwarts."
Minerva watched Snape as she spoke. She found it flattering that he would come to her to discuss the matter. She found those who sought truth were more honorable than those who did not.

Snape heard Minerva words though he had not asked for the mans life story he did not dare stop her as she spoke, once she was gone he spoke "Yes & it would not be the first time the Ministry has made a mistake of who they choose to send to Hogwarts ether, but to question it more would be to question you & I cannot cross such a line, even had you not saved my life I could not cross it. And also I cannot say that at one point perhaps even now I am not questioned about on why I am here, so am not going to look to start smiting unless my hand is forced" Of course if his hand was forced that likely would lead to the man hurt, since he would find that there was a threat to like Hogwarts, if it came down to it he would do what ever it took to stop them. He watched Minerva a moment before he spoke "You do know you did not have to tell, me as much as you did on Professor Davidson?" Of course he was sure she did & because of it he could not question if she had a reason for doing so other then he would know.

Minerva nodded as she listened to Snape talk. "Yes, I know I didn't need to say as much. But, I also know the price you are willing to pay to protect this school." Minerva stated remembering Snape's near death experience and how he had gotten into the position in the first place.
Minerva continued, "If the safety of this school is jepordized I trust you to take whatever action necessary, regardless of where the threat is coming from."
Minerva knew that Snape was well alligned with the Order and that she spoke in favor of the Order and it's beliefs. Protecting the wizarding and muggle world, the safety of the students was her primary concern. And she trusted in Snape, he was after all a force to be reckoned with.

Snape heard her words with her words on protecting the school he nodded "Yes, Minerva" But, yes if a threat came he would have to be taken out ether by being killed or by being wounded to the point he could not fight. He was not sure if anything more would be spoken of, but he would wait to see before just leaving, after all she might have something else she wanted to speak about.

Minerva stood up. She enjoyed speaking with Severus, their conversations were never too long or too short. "That is all I have to say. Thank you for notifying me." Minerva knew that he probably thought it was his duty to notify her, but she still appreciated him doing so.

Snape heard her words he nodded to her low like a bow before he turned to leave, he knew if she needed him she would come find him or send for him. Of course once he was out of the office he head for his so he could get what he needed done, though he had not forgotten that he would keep into the matter of Oliver, but that would come after he was done with his other work.
