(( www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=63451465 )) Jamie walked casually towards her office, the morning still early. The office was barely occupied, and her hands clutched a large mug of coffee as she turned the corner into her office. As Jamie walked into the room, she glanced around, then dropped the mug, the glass shattering as she whipped out her wand. For a moment, Jamie stared at the figure sitting behind her desk, her heart still in her throat. She stood like that for a few seconds, before recollecting her composure and flicking her wand at the mess on the floor. "I would appreciate it if you let me know you would be visiting, Silverton," she said coldly, stepping farther into the room and flicking the lights on....

Aldar grinned as Jamie entered the room, the cup shattering nearly completing his joy. He had decided a while back that it would be fun to sit at her desk, after all, she had told him he wasn't adequate to even be Minister. In a way he could easily remove her from her office, but then he wouldn't have this much.
"What's the fun in telling you when I can surprise you!" Aldar smiled lopsidedly. He was more disheveled than ever, and he had taken to wearing socks again around the Ministry, finding it more fun to slide around the floors. Plus, he figured Jamie wouldn't like the fact that she wouldn't know where his sock covered feet had been. Knowing of course he had lounged as she was out, with his feet on top of her desk.

Jamie glared at the man across from her. "Bloody Hell. You're worse than a bloody stalker," she growled, sour over the loss of her coffee and the fact that Aldar had managed to get to her. She summoned the files under the socked feet to her, glowering now. "What is it that you want, Silverton?" She spat, tempted to summon the chair out from under him too. She struggled with the temptation for a moment before giving in cheerfully and flicking her wand. Silently, she sat down in the padded leather executive chair on the visitors side, and smirked mockingly across the desk as she spread the file out in front of her....

Aldar could feel the chair sliding out from under him and he grabbed on, swinging so that he quickly stood on top of her desk. He peered down at her smiling watching the chair crash to the floor. "It's either the chair or the desk."
"As for wanting anything, can't I just visit my favorite person?" Aldar smirked. He knew Erin was suppossed to show up any moment now, and he wanted see what Jamie had planned. Of course he knew with his presence nothing would be obviously revealed.

Erin checked the watch she wore around her wrist and all but bounced in the elevator to make it go faster. She was going to be late, again. This really wasn't shaping up to be her best week. The other day she had been almost 30 minutes late to meet with Jamie, and Erin really couldn't afford to be late again, she needed this opportunity.
As the doors opened, Erin launched herself out into the hall and made her way hurriedly to Jamie's office. Maybe, just maybe she'd make it. She was dressed in black boot cut pants, with killer blue heals that matched the blue of the sweater she wore under her black cloak. Her hair was piled high on top of her head today, and a few pieces hand managed to escape in her rush to fall and frame her face.
Turning into Jamie's office, Erin took a deep breath to calm herself. "I am so sorry--" Erin blinnked caught of guard by the fact Jamie was on the wrong side of her desk and that there was another person in the office. "Aldar - I mean Minister.. What a wonderful.. Why are you on top of the desk?" Erin stood in the doorway, looking between Aldar and Jamie. "And why are you wearing socks without shoes?!" Erin bit her bottom lip to keep from smiling, and disguised her laugh with a small cough.

Aldar looked up when Erin burst into the room, a grin on his face like a child who had just won victory by getting a piece of candy. He could tell from Erin's apperance that she had been running late, but he liked when her hair came undone. "Well hello Ms. Donaghue. Nice day isn't it?"
He leaned down and smiled at Erin, watching her facial expression. He glanced over at Jamie, a smug expression on his face. Laughing he responded, "the air is better up here of course, and I wanted to show Jamie how wonderful her desk is for morning exercises." Aldar said, stretching into a crazy position.
Aldar stretched out his leg and wiggled his toes as if that would explain why he wasn't wearing shoes. "Everyday is sock day. I was thinking of making it a law. Just imagine! Everyone wearing socks and no shoes! ...Though of course the shoemakers wouldn't be too happy...where to put them..." Aldar mumbled on as if seriously contemplating what to do, his head cocked sideways, making his hair stick out even more.

"Ah, Erin-" Jamie began, but was cut off. She glared at the minister, hoping he would keep over from the mere intensity of her glare. She huffed as he continued on in his ramblings, her expression sour as he posed on her desk. Her lip curled as she sneered slightly at the man. As he trailer off, Jamie jumped in. "Erin you may want to change those shoes into something more comfortable. We have a report to go see, and if all goes well, we'll be patrolling the rest of the day. So, in that case, we'll be leaving almost immediately," she said, turning her back on the minister to completely face her apprentice. "So, must unfortunately, we must bid you good day, Minister," Jamie said, her voice turning sweet as she turned and smirked mockingly at the man.

"But if you don't have shoes' then you'll have a world full of people who have callused rough feet." Erin couldn't help but smile at Aldar's shennanigans. Of course, that had been part of her drawn to him when they'd first met. But judging the looking on Jamie's face, Erin tried to control her amusement. Clearly now wasn't the time to play along with the minister.
"I'm good in these Ms. Smith," Erin said looking at her shoes. "I've been running in heels since the day I could walk." To be honest Erin could work better in heels than flats some days, and she had learned the fun way, they come in really handy if you're stuck without a wand and have to kick someone down a flight of stairs.

Aldar smiled at Erin's response, he liked how she always thought out his ramblings. "Yes, yes. A new breed of human feet." Aldar grined and looked over at Jamie. She was brewing and it only made his excitement grow.
"Ah, yes, it is a wonderful day! It is actually funny, because I have to go patroling too." Aldar bent down and pulled out a pair of worn shoes and slipped them on, the mud slightly coming off on Jamie's desk.
He pulled out a slip of paper, and studied it furiously. "Ah! Would you look at that! I get to come with you guys! So, it really is going to be a g-r-e-a-t day isn't?!" Aldar grinned and sent a smug look over to Jamie.
He was excited to go along with and to see how well Jamie and Erin worked together. It was part of his job, but he made sure that it would be a day everyone would remember. Who said work couldn't be fun?

Jamie shrugged at Erin. "If you are comfortable dueling in those, then, Isuppose its fine," she said, turning back to face the minister. Jamie glowered as the mud landed on her desk. Looking up, she glared at the minister. "It would seem that even the highest ranking guest leaves a mess," she commented sourly. Jamie watched as he dramatically pulled out and read the piece of paper. The news that came with it, however, made Jamie abruptly stand up, her face stony. "I am afraid not, Minister. This is a dangerous case we are going on, and you could quickly become a liability. Even the tiniest slip could cause you to fall into danger and instead of focusing on the point of of this case, we will be forced to protect you. And if something should happen to you, it will ultimately be on my shoulders. So. Really, we should be going. Good day, Minister," she said, walking away while staring pointedly at Erin, then the door.

Aldar jumped down and sat on Jamie's desk, in the process wipping up the caked mud with his cloak. The way he was sitting he had the pleasure of still being taller than Jamie, it was a childish thought really but height at the moment was a fun part of the game.
He was amussed with Jamie's reaction, of course she would see him as a liability. Any excuse to not have him there. He knew she was being more careful with what she said since Erin was in the room, and he really had no intention of drawing Jamie out just yet. But, he wanted Erin and Jamie to be seperated mentally, physically and in every way possible.
"I'm flattered that you care so much for my safety, Jamie. However, I'm still going whether you like it or not. Even though I may appear all weak and how do you phrase it insane, I do have a couple tricks up my sleeve." Aldar grinned.

Erin watched the exchange between both Aldar and her mentor, blinking not sure what she should do or say. Erin knew that there was really no way they were going to get away from Aldar if he had decided that he was coming along with them today.
"I think we should bring him," Erin said suddenly. "Really, we can't stop him if he wants to come," Erin said to Jamie motioning with her hand to Aldar. "He's sort of both of our boss..." Erin bit her bottom lip hoping she wasn't stepping over any boundaries. Really it would be fun to have Aldar along for the day, but Erin didn't dare voice that from like look she was getting from Jamie.
"Just think of him as not even there," Erin said. "Hell maybe he'll even promise to be quiet if we let him come along..." Erin trailed off hoping she hadn't messed things up too much by voicing her opinion.

Aldar nodded at Erin's words and then turned to look at Jamie. "She is correct in all aspects, I am your boss." Aldar grinned.
He hopped down from the desk and brushed himself off, trying to straighten his clothes out to no avail. "However, I can't promise I won't talk. Communication in it's many forms is key on these little outings."
Aldar paused and went over to stand by Erin. Rocking back and forth on his heels, Aldar looked at Jamie, a smug expression on his face. Jamie couldn't say no now. "So, Jamie, as you want to leave so eagerly, how about you show us the way out." He gestured to the door, half bowing as he did so, mocking her percieved high standing among the aurors.

Jamie stared at Erin, her eyes glacial for a moment, before they warmed again. "If you can handle him, Erin..." she said sweetly, smirking slightly, before she turned on Aldar. "If you want us to capture this wizard, and do this successfully, you will need to shut your mouth, and stick close. I don't care what office you sit in, if you throw any of into danger, I will have your ass," she spat, glaring at the minister, her finger nearly in his face...

Aldar grinned at Jamie. "Don't worry about me. It's you I'd be worried about."
Aldar watched Jamie, he was anxious to go, and excited. It would be fun to watch them both in action, and if he needed to help he would. But, that wasn't his purpose on this trip.
