Jamie apparated into the middle of the hallway of her department, back from a few duels out in the field. Her cloak was torn near the bottom, and some of her hair loose, along with a slight scratch on her cheek bone, but beside that, she appeared unscathed. She walked swiftly back to her office, hopeful to finish the paperwork quickly and head home early. She walked back into the office, sitting down quickly, tucking a lock of loose hair back behind her war as she grabbed her cup of cold coffee and took a drink. She sighed, resting her head on the back o the chair, before she acknowledged the minister in a chair in the corner of the office. "What do you want now, Silverton?" She asked, sounding, for once, mildly tired.

Aldar had gotten to Jamie's office early, and well he was a prankster in his own right and decided the best course of action was to just drug her and make her speak the truth. Now, it wasn't entierly fair, but life wasn't fair. He watched her drink her coffee in which he had placed the drug.
Sitting in the corner so she wouldn't notice him right away, and wearing darker colors so he blended in with the scenery, Aldar grinned. "Well, now can't I visit? How was your day? You look rather....tired." Aldar wanted to start simple after all, he didn't really know if it would work at all.

Jamie raised an eyebrow at Aldar before speaking, the words coming out of her mouth before she realized it. "You can visit, I suppose, but it's rather unprefferable to me," she said, before her brow furrowed. She leaned back again, closing her eyes. "It was active, though hardly enjoyable," she said, hardly hearing her own voice for a moment. Then, inside, she recognized what was happening, and began to raise her mental shields. Quickly, she reviewed the day, and began to form a plan. Still playing along, Jamie spoke again, her eyes still closed. "I'm exhausted....But what do you care?' she commented, her voice bland, then snide.
THen she bolted up. "THe paperwork," she growled, standing up....

Aldar didn't move from his seat, he watched Jamie, noting the change in her voice. Something wasn't right, but he figured he would just continue with the plan, seeing how it really wasn't a plan.
"Sounds like a rough day." Aldar watched her as she got up to do the paperwork.
"To be honest, I'm here cause I've been told that people aren't really happy with my leadership." Aldar stated obviously quoting from the recent incidents with less than favorable people, excluding Snape of course. "So, I guess I came here to see what you thought."
Aldar paused before continuing, "what are your thoughts about life? Do you like your job? Do you like your work atmosphere? What would you change about the world if you were free to do anything?" Aldar waited to hear her answers. They really weren't revealing questions, but really anything she said was revealing.

Jamie swayed again. "Paperwork.." she muttered, closing her eyes again, frowning. She paused for a moment, struggling. "You can't always please everyone," she muttered, before putting a hand to her head. She groaned, fighting for a moment, both fakely, and for real against the Veritaserum. "I hate it.." she whispered after a few moments, before crumpling to her knees. Her fingers clenched on the edge of the desk before loosening. "Aldar.." she murmured, before hitting the ground, still.
Beneath her cloak, Jamie briefly touched her wand, concentrating and casting the Confunding spell on herself, before shuddering and passing out, her hand shifted away from her wand enough to look innocent.
Give them a show.

Aldar watched as Jamie fell and he sat there wondering what to do. He knew he should check to see if she was still alive, but it would be rather convenient if she had died...but also a bit disappointing. Rather a dull ending. He leaned back in the chair thinking of all of his options. She was technically his employee...but he also suspected that she was not really an auror but the DE leader...he didn't like her and that was probably the deal breaker.
Aldar slowly got up and poured himself some tea. As he was waiting for the tea to warm up in mid-air he suddenly remembered that Erin would probably never forgive him if he let her once chance pass her by. With that thought he bent down and quickly checked Jamie's pulse. Disappointed that there was still a pulse he slung her over his shoulder and proceded to make his way to St. Mungo's for hopefully, a very short, painless visit.
