Aldar awkwardly, in his way, walked into St. Mungo's, carrying a woman like she was a sling bag over his shoulder. He did his best to appear grim, for he didn't think the staff would appreciate it if he was all chipper and happy.
After a few moments of really no explaining or really understanding of anything except of the drug Aldar had given Jamie for work purposes, who they both were and what happened (which really was all the explaining the staff needed) Aldar was finally seated in a hospital chair, waiting for their designated healer to arrive to the private room. Jamie still not woken up lay in a hospital bed. And the whole time Aldar was trying to remember if he had taken the tea off the kettle.

The middle aged man bustled into the room, nodding to Aldar next to the young woman. "Minister," he said, looking grim, harried, and pressured. "If you don't mind, I will be conducting a few spells to find out what happened. There are a few spells that, combined with the potion you used, that can cause this... reaction, this shut down. One is the Confundus spell, and the other is the Obliviate spell. Do you know if she was possibly hit by any of those spells recently?" the man asked, pulling his wand out. Walking over to Jamie, he muttered a few words, staring at his wand. For a moment, he frowned, then shrugged. "Nevermind. She's been confunded. Perhaps during her rounds recently?" the healer asked, turning to face Aldar. "It should wear off soon, especially since you drugged her, maybe another day or so. Unfortunately, anything that she may have said while drugged cannot be taken seriously. The effects of that spell mixed with that potion could make her say things that she would never say, confuse her, things like that. So really, anything you might have hoped to use from that interview really couldn't be used," he said, looking apologetic.
He had opened his mouth again to speak when a man and a younger woman hurriedly approached the Healer and Aldar. "We heard what happened. Have they figured out the cause yet?" the young woman asked, before the Healer told her what had taken place. The young woman glanced at the older man with her, and he stepped forward. "I think we may have seen it happen. She was hit with a nonverbal in the last duel. We thought it was a simple throwing spell. She hit the wall, and took a little while to recover, but we thought nothing of it, thought she was just dazed," he said, his voice deep.
The healer nodded, then glanced at Aldar. "That was probably then, Minister. Often, if it is a strong enough witch or wizard, the nonverbal confunding charm can sometimes be stronger than the verbal incatation, and can even be manipulated to be a sleeping jinx, one that doesn't show itself until asking specific questions or asking for specific actions. When she became drugged with the Veritaserum, her mind and body probably couldn't handle the confusion and conflicting thought, especially when being forced to tell the truth, and she didn't even know what the truth was... Again, it should wear off soon. It seems to be all just the wrong time and wrong actions," the Healer said, shrugging. "Any questions, concerns?"

Aldar sat in the chair, nodding to what the three rather odd looking people were saying. This was rather dull, did they think he didn't know anything? It wasn't that he wasn't aware of the effects of the drug and all the possiblities and things that could have happened, it was just that what had happened was too boring and normal for him to want to deal with. Besides he figured it would best to take Jamie somewhere public so people couldn't pull it over on him that he did nothing.
Aldar stood up and glanced at the three. He motioned over to Jamie who still appeared to be rather out of sorts, as in not responding. "What would you like me to do with her...I mean...Ms. Smith? What would be best for her? I can't take her back anywhere except to her office. So....it's either here or there...and yes...everything else is completly understandable." Aldar waited for one of them to respond, and he silently prayed that he wouldn't be told to babysit all night.

The Healer glanced over at Jamie. "Give her until she wakes up. Once we've checked her out, you can take her back to her office and keep an eye on her there. It would be advisable not to ask her any questions other than how she is feeling for the time. Whatever you asked her seemed to rub that spell the wrong way," the man commented, an eyebrow raised. Then he shrugged, before turning at the sound of stirring. Jamie opened her eyes slowly, groaning and covering them with a hand, her head throbbing. "What happened?"
The healer turned to Aldar, an eyebrow raised again. "I'll leave you to explain, and we should have her checked out in about 15," he commented lightly, before leaving the room swiftly.
Jamie turned to look over at Aldar. "What?"

A look of annoyance passed over Aldar's face. He was beginning to dislike St. Mungo's even more with each visit. When Jamie woke up he sighed and waited for the healers to leave. He didn't understand the need to explain anything when she was being affected by the confundus spell.
Sighing Aldar looked at Jamie. "You passed out in your office, I was notified and brought you here to St. Mungo's. They said you consumed some Veritaserum and were hit with a confundus spell. You should be fine in a day or two." Aldar looked at Jamie hoping that the explanation was satisfactory and that this day would just be over. He was strangely missing the comforts of his office, mainly because it didn't come with a night of watching Ms. Jamie Smith.

Jamie flinched as Aldar spoke, the sound making her head throb even worse. "How...? Nevermind," she whispered, throwing an arm over her eyes again. Then she spoke again. "I'm fine now, just sore..." She said, sitting up. Then she leaned back against the head of the bed, grimacing. The healer came back. "Ms. Smith, it is advisable to take it slow for a while. You should probably lay back down until we have you completely signed out," he explained, attempting to lay Jamie back down. Jamie frowned and swatted his hands away. "I'm fine, I've been hit with worse. Just soreness, that's all," she said, sitting completely up. The healer looked at a loss of what to do, and looked askingly at the Minister. "My wand, if you please," Jamie said, her voice raspy and quiet to avoid further disruption of her head as she held her hand out....

Aldar had been watching everything and it was rather amussing, as amussing as things could get one when's enemy was rather sick. At the mention of her wand Aldar frowned, what he done with it?
He knew he didn't snap it, because that would be no fun. But he didn't leave it lying on the floor either. Aldar fiddled in his pockets...did he lock it away somewhere? Oh, yes, he had put it in his pocket, and he had tied a red string around it remind himself not to do anything with it.
Aldar held it up so Jamie could see that it was still all right. "Your wand is safe....now...I am not giving it you because that will make everyone else be in danger." Aldar looked at her then continued, "and you might do something to yourself too." He smiled at her while he slipped the wand back into his pocket. A pocket that had a magical barrier around it so that only he could retreive the items from it. Rather handy when he wanted to keep something only to himself.

Jamie watched the minister frown, nearly panicking as he seemed to forget what had happened to her wand. "Silverton, I swear, if you-" she was cut off by him pulling her wand out of his pocket, a sight that Jamie detested. "What!?" She yelped, scowling as he tucked it back into his pocket, a sight that she hated even more than seeing it come out of that price of fabric. "Hand it over, Silverton, or I swear I'll hex you so badly you'll be in the bed next to me," she growled, sitting up even more, before grimacing and holding a hand to her head.

Aldar laughed, "that would really be a sight. I can see the headlines now: Detained Auror at St. Mungo's hexes Minister because he won't let her have her magic wand." Aldar grinned, playing up the dramatics like always by swinging his hands around and looking off into the distance where he probably was looking at the headline.
"No, Jamie. I'm afraid I can't give it to you. You're confused right now and I don't want you to do somethigng you'll regret." Aldar spoke like a father gently scolding a child, while of course smirking at her, as he took out his decoy wand, fiddling with it in his hands. He rarely allowed anyone to see his own wand, finding it instead easier for them to believe the decoys were his real one. Once he had dropped around 50, using each one in a duel. That was hillarious seeing how he didn't really have control over any, yet he still won.

"Keep talking about it, and the healers may just bring you that headline with your breakfast," Jamie growled, glowering as the shoved off the head of the bed and sat sideways on the bed, her head in her hands. "I'm fine, now give it to me," she growled again, holding her hand out. Instead of a wand, however, she felt a thin file placed in her hand. She opened her eyes and glanced up. "And what is this?" She asked, her voice icy. The Healer raised an eyebrow before speaking. "The medical report and your release papers," he said, turning to Aldar. "She may do better at her place if you are alright with taking her there, or she may be fine in her office.. Either way," he said, shrugging before walking away.
Jamie glared at Aldar. "See? I'm released. I'm fine. Now cough up my bloody wand," she spat, standing up shakily.

Aldar smiled and shook his head. He thought it would be interesting to see Jamie's place, but he doubted she really had anything revealing there. Like him, she probably covered her tracks. He ignored her remark about the wand. "You know I have to watch you until you get better. So pick where you want to go, your office or your home."
Aldar leaned back on his heels, a mischevious grin on his face. He felt rather empowered with having Jamie's wand. Not that she ever made him feel threatened or weaker, but it was great to see her panicking so much about not having a simple magic device.

Jamie scowled, pointing at the minister. "I don't need you to look after me as though I am a sick child! You know bloody well that these Healers are over cautious, so give me my wand, I'm going home. By. Myself," Jamie demanded, before she abruptly curled her hand into a fist, looking away and breathing for a moment as she glowered a the wall across from her bed. Yes, she had been practicing wand less magic, but she did not need it slipping out now, especially in public in front of the minister. Her fist shook with restrained rage and barely capped magic before it slowly subsided, leaving her head throbbing worse than ever.

Aldar laughed, "don't get all defensive about it! I don't want to do it either!"
He moved to grab Jamie's wrist. "You really are a pain. We're going back to your office then. And we can have some tea like ridiculously civilised people." Aldar was half fuming, half laughing at the whole situation. A part of him wanted to hit her, and another wanted to record her so everyone would know just what a child she really was.

"Really? Then why not sneak out of this responsibility like you do any other?" Jamie snapped, yanking her wrist back away from him, her left wrist. "If you insist on grabbing my upper appendages, I must insist in return that you grab my right arm," Jamie sneered. Then she continued. "The left is still sore from that meeting with the wall," she muttered sulkingly.

Aldar smirked at Jamie, "that's because people will know about it. My other responsiblities aren't made public are they? That's why I don't do them. So just put on a good show and act like a good girl. And after a day or so we both can be free from this hell hole."
To her other words Aldar laughed and he moved to grab her right arm. "Okay, now off we go."
He found it entertaining, and seeing how they both hadn't been in this situation before, he wondered how things would go.
