PERSONALITYBetta is known for having a very snarky attitude when it comes to socializing with anyone outside of her own little circle of friends, particularly when it comes to the subject of house elves. As a firm believer in having house elves as servants, she isn't too kind when someone who doesn't believe in elf servitude starts to debate her. What starts out as a civil conversation almost always ends up with Betta doing her level best to make her opponent's life miserable. She doesn't duel--she tries to stay as far away from that as she can, because she is not a very good dueler.
Elisabetta also has a habit of mocking popular students and those who want to be popular students, who are constantly trying to climb their way up the school social ladder. Wannabe popular students irritate her to no end; as far as her own popularity is concerned, with the exception of her own little group of friends, Betta is not that well-liked around Hogwarts. This doesn't bother her in the least; a bad reputation is better than no reputation at all, in her opinion. In her mind, if you've ever survived an attempt on your life, you can deal with any sort of reputation, good or bad. This cavalier attitude belies the fact that she still thinks about almost being killed; she still has nightmares about it, which is something she doesn't care to admit. She is constantly worried that someone is going to find out about what happened to her, therefore she makes certain that she pushes people away by acting the way she does.
To her friends--which are three in number--Betta is everything one could want. She's trustworthy, loyal, and would do anything for them, knowing that they'd do the same for her should the time arise. They are the only ones who know about the incident between her and her uncle; none of the professors--not even the headmaster--have any inkling about her past.
If there is one thing that Betta hates more than anything, it's dueling. No matter how much she practices and who she practices with, be it with her parents or some of the students at school, it's customary for Betta to frustrate those trying to teach her to the point where they end up walking out of the practice, leaving Betta even more confused about the whole dueling bit.

OTHER POSSESSIONS OR OTHER THINGS YOU WISH TO NOTE Elisabetta was given a Hand of Glory by her grandfather on her fifteenth birthday, but was not told how to use it.
HISTORYBetta's parents are Damiano and Simone Domenici. Damiano,37, works as an Unspeakable at the Ministry of Magic, while Simone,32, is a well-known model/actress. Both parents are of pureblood ancestry, and both have explained to her why it's so important that Betta choose her friends carefully, although Damiano has been more insistent on this point. Simone, while also urging Betta to be careful in her choice of friends, is normally too busy with her own career to focus on it as much as Damiano does.
When she was seven, Elisabetta's uncle, Massimo Domenici, almost killed her when she accidentally broke his favorite wizard's chess set. She has never forgotten that day, and though she seldom talks about it out loud, she constantly having nightmares, which keep her awake at night.
Hogwarts Years: From the time she began at Hogwarts, Betta has managed to earn at least 50 points per semester for her House. Although she's had plenty of crushes on different guys, her shrewish reputation prevents any sort of real relationship from developing; however, she knows that there are more important things in life than falling in love and she finds it easy to brush off any sort of crush she might be developing for someone. Love and magic don't mix, as far as she's concerned, and she makes certain that this holds true in her situation as well.

Betta tapped her chin with her quill as she looked down at the essay she was writing. She wondered, for what seemed to be the hundredth time, why she had to be stuck indoors writing a foot-long page essay on a wizard convention that happened eons ago. How was learning about wizard conventions supposed to help her after she graduated from Hogwarts? She wasn't planning on being a history of magic professor, although, she admitted to herself, she would probably make for a more interesting one than old Professor Binns.
She sighed. Only three more inches of essay was left to be written. It always happened this way; she always got stuck at the three-inch mark. Should she throw in one of the fights that had erupted at one of these conventions? That would give her essay a bit of spice to liven things up. Betta thought for a moment, then smirked to herself. That wasn't a bad idea. All she had to do now was go look up infamous events in magical history.
