PERSONALITY Is a dark tempered man, he holds some mystery about him. He is not one for jokes or wize crakes, at least form students, for the start it appers he favores his house greatly over others & can over look the others house work even if they are very good. There is also a dark side to him or what appers to be so, for he is not one that looks like you would want to anger him. For he shows no emotion & his eyes are black like, one that has no heart or perhaps lost it long ago.

HISTORY Severus Snape the son of the witch Eileen Prince, and the Muggle Tobias Snape, making him a half blood was raised in the muggle world, in the area called Spinner’s End. He lived close to the Evens family, a reason for there meeting at a young age of 9 & Snape was the one to tell Lily that she was a witch after watching her for some time, though as time went on his love grew deeper for Lily & for the time it was clear that Lily only wished to be friends & nothing more. But, even with this Lily Eves was clearly one of the few that ever got close to Snape or being considered a friend to him in his youth.

Spinner’s End was close to a river, though it is an area of poverty, with cobbled streets, broken street lamps, disused factories and dilapidated houses. Though it was also clear that as Snape’s love for Lily grew his hate for her sister Petunia likely because she was a muggle but, more so because she said unkind things to him & made disparaging comments about his clothes and residence.

In Snapes younger years he as so had difficulty making friends, even when he wanted to make a good impression it did not normally go in such a way & it likely was due to that he was not treated the best by his father that hated the used of magic & because of his fathers treatment it could have been the seeds to make Snape have a dislike for muggles even when he cared for Lily so greatly.

At a young age Snape was able to do wondless magic even before he attended Hogwarts, something that not many can do at a young age.

Snape started school in 1971 & continued tell 1978, the Slytherin Head of House at the time was Potions professor, Horace Slughorn. When he began his first term at Hogwarts where he was sorted into Slytherin. It was clear that when Snape first got to Hogwarts, that knew more curses & hexes then most 7 years students did.

Severus also became the immediate enemy of James Potter and Sirius Black though if this was form them meeting on the train for the first time or later it was clear that there was bad blood between them. He was a frequent victim of their bullying. And like because of this it only helped Snape gain an interested with the Dark Arts at a young age, and had followed the pure-blood supremacists in Slytherin House, despite his love for Lily, a Muggle-born. This put his friendship with Lily under great strain.

Ashamed of his Muggle father, Severus began to identify with his mother's family and created a secret nickname from his mother's maiden name, calling himself "the Half Blood Prince."

It might also be said that Snape was also neglected, by his parents in some way making him be more unpleasant personality and cruel behavior with each year, until he was an adult.

Snape was also a member of the Slug Club, presumably because of his brilliance at potion-making. Lucius Malfoy, was a prefect during Snape's first year and greeted him with a pat on the back when he was sorted into the Slytherin House, suggesting that he treated him kindly at Hogwarts (which could also be a reason why Snape seems to favor Draco Malfoy during his later teaching years)

One night of the full moon Sirius tricked Snape into visiting the Shrieking Shack a time when Remus Lupin, afflicted with lycanthropy, would be there during his transformation into a werewolf. Snape fallowing could of cost him his life of he could have been changed into a were wolf, had it not been for James, who found out what had happened, went after Severus and managed to save him just before he got to the Shrieking Shack while Remus was in his wolf-form. When Albus Dumbledore, found out what happened he swore Severus to secrecy, later reasoned that, as a result, Severus owed James a debt for saving his life. Severus persisted in believing that James had only acted out of fear of punishment for his part in the trick.

Severus Snape was a brilliant wizard, even in his childhood years, it was common to see him write notes and scribbles in his Potions textbook that he made time during classes to invent curses, charms, and brilliant potion innovations, while simultaneously learning the required textbook lessons.

Severus Snape's potions textbook also contains a few spells which he specifically took credit for inventing: Levicorpus, which grabs the victim by the ankle and dangles them upside-down, and Sectumsempra, which causes slashing cuts which bleed extensively, guided by hand gestures on the victim. Muffliato, which fills the ears of anyone nearby with an "unidentifiable buzzing sound," and Langlock, which affixes the victim's tongue to the roof of the mouth.

After leaving school he joined the Death Eaters along with a large group of his fellow Slytherins.



In early 1980, Snape eavesdropped on a job interview for Divination Professor between Sybill Trelawney and Albus Dumbledore at the Hog's Head Inn. It was in that time that Trelawney prophesied that at the end of July, a child would be born who would cause the destruction of Lord how ever Snape did not hear all the message for he was caught & threw out.

Later he learned that the Dark Lord had set his sights on Lily Potter & her son Harry to be the one that would bring his down fall. Snape had asked that the Dark Lord speak Lily but, he was in in the mood to hear it. With this in mind Snape went to Albus & unknown to others had begged for Albus to save Lily, James & Harry. And in return he had sworn to become Albus spy, with in the Death Eaters become a double agent. Severus secretly defected from the Death Eaters and joined the Order of the Phoenix, under Dumbledore. When Voldemort went to kill the Potters, he did give Lily a chance to step aside, but when she did not, he killed her anyway. When Severus learned of Lily's death, Dumbledore persuaded Snape to help him protect Lily's son Harry, reasoning that it was the best thing he could do for her. Eaters."
Snape then dedicated the remainder of his life to protecting Lily Potter's son.

He became the Potion Master of Hogwarts in 1981 & is still Potion Master tell the present, though he has wanted to be the D.A.D.A. Professor but, the Head master has not allowed him to take up this class again, he was it for one year in 1996 & in 1997 he was Head Master though with resent events, to keep being so has been placed on hold.

As a teacher, Snape is seen as a disciplinarian, with little patience for foolishness, yet effective in his job and well respected by other professors. His deep understanding of potion brewing, as shown by his expert concoction of Wolfsbane Potion, transformed the knowledge of potions from mere chemistry to an art.

But, know with a new year starting who is to say what will happen, only time will tell what events will take place & what secrets will be learned, for this year Harry Potter is coming to Hogwarts, the boy who lived, Lily & James son.

Snape did everything he could to keep Harry & his freids safe but, becouse of him having to play the spy & be truste by the Dark Lord he never showed any favor tords the group. Though he knew what Harrys destey was & the full exent later he did what he could. He knew that Hermion was indeed the smartist witch of her time, so there was no big supprise when he heard the whispered rumors.

But, he is also supprised for he though that Harry was to kill the Dark Lord, though he had durning that time had been fighting for his life & almost died had it not been for some one helping him & yet he does not remember who.

It would apper that the bit had some side affects but, he knows that he is lucky to be alive to be breathing but, there is still the question on who his help came from. He did not think it was a D.E. since they would of left him for dead or finished him & he was broght to Hogwarts, so that made him wonder if it was not one of the staff members.

There have been times he has asked only to be told, the one that help did not want to make him feel indebted & with that it makes him wonder more on who it is for, there are few he knew of even in the order that would not of loved to make him feel such a thing.

Could it even be possible that the Head Mistress, was the one to help him? He knows there is a chance it could be so & because of it he has done his best not to be as nippy with her but, then again he never was extremely nippy with her for she did not take it form him even with they where Professors or he was a student.
RP SAMPLE. You could feel the chill in the air, that appeared to bit at everything in its path. How ever it, slowly lifted to be replaced, with a fog that rolled slowly in as the breath of a dragon was close by, how ever that only made things more unnerving for any that might be out. How ever even with this, in mind Snape moved for Hogwarts castle he had to speak to Albus, he had to warn him. His mind was sharp but, he knew the danger to come here, the price he might pay simply for coming here for there where many that knew who he worked for or more who he had been seen hanging around with.

Knew if another Staff member of that found him, he likely would not get a word in before a fight broke out. There was a flicker of movement of sound & with out thinking, simply reacting Snape sent a spell in the direction. His pulse was rising & the hair on the back of his neck where on end with what had made the noise for he did not think it was an animal. He soon found out when a spell came at him that he managed to avoid before he sent another spell, how ever the second time a spell came at him he had not been fast enough.

He was not on his knees because of the force of the spell & his wand was laying a short distance form him, how ever what great Snape stunned him & shocked him for it was not a Staff member that he first meet no it was the Head Master him self Albus.

The flicker of fear that moved threw him made him beg not to be killed, though he was unsure if Albus would not simply have him sent to Azkaban for what he had done so far, the crimes he had committed on the Wizarding World.

With out having Albus instently send him to Azkaban or kill him, he was able to tell of the Dark Lords plain, a plain he waited not part in & one that truly made him regretted the path he had chosen.
