PERSONALITY
Overall, Alexis is a very outgoing and trustworthy person, just do not cross her path in the wrong way or you may regret it. She does tend to have a short temper. She is a lot like her father, having only him as a role model. She is intelligent, especially when it comes to the dark arts and potions, but then again, she had that advantage to having such a great teacher early on. She is also outspoken, with always saying what is on her mind, and with that comes her confidence in herself and her born-to-be leader status.

HISTORY
Miss Alexis Annabelle Snape was born on August 10, 1980 to Annabelle Gaunt and Severus Snape. Her parents never married and she really never understood why. It was a mutual decision between her parents for Alexis to take the Snape surname due to the fact that Annabelle did not want her daughter to have the surname of one of the nastiest families in the wizarding world, The Gaunts. Being that Annabelle was Pureblood and Severus was Half-Blood, Alexis would come to find out down the road that she was half-blood, however, she did not find out until her fourth year at Hogwarts. Yes, she lived all her life up until then thinking she was pureblood. Six months after Alexis was born, Death Eaters killed her mother and to this date, Alexis still knows very little to nothing about her mother.
As the years went by, Alexis kept knowing something was different about her. By age 7, she finally realized that she could do things that other kids could not do. She went to her father, who pretty much raised her to be like him, and told her about her abilities as a witch and also began teaching her Potions and about the Dark Arts. That was also the year that she met her childhood friend and Hogwarts sweetheart, Draco Malfoy and his family. His family took Alexis under their wing right away, telling her that if anything happened to her father, that she could be a part of their family. Draco and her became best best friends and have been ever since. By age 11, she recieved her letter from Hogwarts and was so happy to be accepted. In school, she was sorted into Slytherin and she took to Potions class like a duck does to water, exceeding every year in Potions as the years went along. During her 5th and 6th years, she made Prefect. Then her 7th year came along, the year full of surprises and emotions.
Now, 2 years after Hogwarts, she finds herself working at the Apocathery shop where she once apprenticed during holidays in school. She hopes to fulfill her dream in either becoming a professor at Hogwarts or Healer at St. Mungos (which she has had offers, but just not sure what she is doing yet). She also wants to find love.

Alexis sat at the desk in her little, one bedroom cabin up by her favorite Loch in Scotland. It had been about ten years since her father was killed by Voldemort and when Alexis chose to bury him up there to where she could visit the site every day. After a few quiet moments, an owl appeared on her window sill. It was her barn owl, Orion, with a letter in his talons. Alexis took the letter and saw it was from Headmaster McGonagoll. She shook her head and did not open it for a few moments. The memory of returning back to Hogwarts haunted her and brought up the worst memory ever. But, after a few moments of clearing her mind, she opened the letter. It was an invitation to come back to Hogwarts as Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
Alexis thought about the letter day and night for about two weeks, finally taking out a parchment and quill and writing back, accepting the position. She packed up her things and headed back to Hogwarts, with first stopping at her first place of residence, Spinner's End, which was the same just as she left it. The memories of being back were hard but also, at the same time, very refreshing.
