Snape had been at the head of the class watching the students as they came in they where soon informed that Balder would be there to help with the class lesson. Of course after that Snape started the lesson for the class, it was nothing greatly heard though it would allow Balder the change to work with the students to get a better feeling on what she could be getting her self into. Though he moved around the room watchful of the students to see they keep to there work, but he was also watchful of Balder encase she needed somthing.

Balder observed Snape and the students quietly at first. She then notice one student having trouble cutting up one of the ingredients. Balder approached him, and asked "Mind if I see your knife for a minute?"
The student nodded and handed his knife to Balder, who then examined it. "Huh, I guess the sharpness charm wore off on it a while back, the blade itself is messed up." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a pocket knife, opening it and handing it to him "Here, this one's blade is rust and chemical proof, and it'll always stay sharp. You can keep it, I've got plenty just like it." Balder smiled. The student smiled back and thanked her before continuing his work.

Snape noticed Balders actions though said nothing of it, though his ways in class made it where few asked him questions many to fearful of him to do so, between hearing what he did to students, rumors about it, his pass & so on, though it was good to see that Balder was watching the students, of course Snape did well to see that nothing bad happen to the students in his class or at least nothing that would hurt them greatly, but with it he learned that students where leer of him becouse he came of as a jerk or more so was at times, becouse it keep students in cheek.

Balder could remember everything that was said about Professor Snape during her time at Hogwarts, and over the years she found most of them to be completely untrue. She was one of literally very few people that knew the real Snape. Why? Somehow they were able to connect, to actually understand and 'get' each other, and the common interest in potions. She remembered the countless weekends they would bounce different hypotheses they came up with on potions.
Balder smiled to herself before she continued to observe.

Snape of course helped when needed, but for the most part he allowed Balder to tended the class not that a young set of students could get into trouble, with a simple potion how ever it was a starting point. With classes coming to a end soon, he would allow Balder to dismiss class unless she wanted him to. After that they could take time to speak, since he had not other classes for some time, but he would see if she had plans first & go form there.

Once it was time for class to end, Balder dismissed the students. She ran a hand through her mohawk and smiled. "Well. that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." She sighed in relief. She looked to Snape "So, how do you think I did?"

Snape watched the students leave at her words he spoke "You did well & as you build up in classes with the age of the students you will be dealing more with acting up to some degree, but thankful having my kind of rep not many of even the old students think to acted up"

Balder smiled, happy to hear of his praise, knowing full well that it wasn't frequently given. "Well, I could act like a drill sergeant on them, though the might need to bring some extra underwear to class." She chuckled at her joke.

Snape chuckled at her words "You can teach them as you see fit, with in reason of course just might be you will not be a favorite by many in the end"

"Probably not, but I think when they're my age they'll realize I was on their side the whole time by being a motivation, albeit a different kind of motivation." She smiled and chuckled.

Snape heard her words "Well there are many your age, that still think me a jerk" How ever his job was to see that they where ready, for what was to come not to make friends & that.

Balder smiled and sat in one of the stools. "Well, I'm not one of them." She said, "After knowing you for so long, I know you're a great guy in a different way."

Oddly she got his intrested "And how is that?" He could not say he did not want to hear, how she saw him or how ever she meant that he did not wish to hear it, since few would do the same.

"Well, I know you're not cruel, you only pushed us to our limit, but never past it because you knew we could handle it, even if we didn't think we could." Balder recounted, "You give very constructive criticism, and you always have a good reason behind everything you do." She gave him a smile, "And you helped me out when I needed it."

Snape heard her words he nodded "I try to do my best, yet I know there are times I pess matters to far or do play favors to students at times" He watched her as he spoke "We can speak over the next cast & what the lesson plans will be" He was willing to give her a challenge as time went on yet he did not wish to do to much at one time.
