The storm raged over head, as the lighting cut across the sky at times; only to be shoulder after fallowed by the should of the thunder that appeared to great the night storm. It was not something easy to not since even in sleep but, many would still sleep threw it in the end, the rain was coming down hitting against the stone & windows of the school, yet there was no sign to it stopping soon or seeing very well in it for those out in it or looking out, into the storm as it went on.
Rigoletto had watched silently form where he was, the storm was much like him yet, the rain had a calming & cleaming feeling went they washed over a person. It was hard to explain but, it was still there all the same, no Rigoletto knew he would not find sleep tonight & thankful there where no classes in the morning so he would, not be greatly rushed up that issue.
He turned to walk heading up the steeps, no sound came from his steeps & his clothing moved with his movement but, he was much like a shadow or ghost of the school at that moment, though he was going some where to find some comfort to help ease his mind from the storm that was going on.
Entering the room, though it was a room be side the room of requirements, it was not hidden as many things with in the castle & he moved to cast a quick spell that light some candles & fire place in the room, it was mealy for his comforted to help ease his mind, than anything more, entering the room more, it grew with light but, not so much to make any that passed by so quick to see it.
As the room lite, you could see much around the room though the one that was noticed most was the piano, something that had been here for years though, how many was unsure ether way Rigoletto approached before he took a seat o the bench before he tested the keys, only when sure the sound would not wake anyone he started to play, the song in is self was gentle & soft though, it had with in it the hidden beauty that could be found in much music if one looked but, this song had the power to wrap around one & at the time it was one form that Rigoletto knew would easy his mind most form the Strom then anything else.

Minerva had been making her last rounds, not minding that she was up this late, seeing how a storm was raging on outside. She thought nothing of the storm, it was a mere thunderstorm, nothing that would vex her mind. Though she was cross as always with the students she still held a soft spot towards them and she wondered how many of them would be able to sleep tonight.
Minerva was in one of her darker outfits, her hat still on from the course of the day. As she walked down the corridor she noticed a room which appeared to be occupied. At first she thought it was a student, but when she got closer she realized it couldn't be, for the music was too old, too mesmorizing to come from anyone other than Rigoletto.
Minerva politely stood outside the doorway, a small smile on her face, listening to the piano music, and for a moment easing her mind from the thoughts of the impending war.

Rigoletto had since Minerva as he played, as he came to a break with the tune he looked her way before he spoke "Head Mistress, I did not think any where up... even with the storm going on.... I hope that my music did not wake you?" He had not expected anyone to show, thinking most would stay in bed with the storm going on or mealy not hear him playing if they walked around.
Then again many took rounds to insure students where not out at a time they should not be, the Head Mistress could of been doing this or it could of been she had been out walking & just some how heard the music.

Minerva smiled slightly at Rigoletto, "Don't worry about me, Professor. I was just finishing up my rounds and heard some music. It's good that you're putting that poor piano in use, nobody had played on it for years."
Minerva entered into the room slightly, still unsure how long she would chat with Rigoletto and if her presence was wanted at all.

Rigoletto heard her words with them he smiled to her before he spoke "I can tell though, at the time we needed each other & it does help forget the storm going on out side, it did not look like it will stop any time soon ether"
As Minerva entered the room, Rigoletto watched her not so much in fear but, almost amusement that it appeared she did not want to disturber him but, she had every right not. "You are welcome to join me Head Mistress, I do not bit, at least not in some time & that is another story in its self"

Minerva sat down in one of the chairs, making sure as always that she was sitting up straight, and in proper apperance. "Yes, it does seem that way."
As to his words about him biting she smiled, "I do not fear you Mr. Carillon-Dra, in anything that you have done. It is wise to trust a man such as yourself. I was merely aware that I might disturb your thoughts, and did not wish to do so."
Minerva paused before continuing, "it may be against your nature to do so, but you need not be so formal with me. You may call me by my name if you perfer."

Rigoletto watched her with her words he smirked at her second before he spoke "You might not fear me but, there are those you should. Much of rumors & legions about what I am are not all lies. As for wise, I am honored to her you say that, I will do all I can to never have you second guess that decision"
"I am not like some that, hate the idea of being disturb besides if one plains to work here they should be used to being disturb for there is much that can happen very quickly" Rigoletto looked more at Minerva "I will try but, it will not be so simple....years of being formal makes it hard to be something else"

Minerva nodded to Rigoletto's words. "Yes, I believe from my years of experience has helped me become more aware of people's characters and events."
She listened to Rigoletto continue, " I had figured as much. It would be a very hard habit to break, I believe the younger generation has lost some of that."

Rigoletto heard Minerva words "It is always a good skill to learn how to be more awere & events that happen around them" It was turn many did not think or watch for such things, to learn form such things & that could get them in trouble. "Yes, it appear to be slowly dieing out but, then perhaps schools & things are not like they once where, so with it such things are slowly turning & with it changing"

Minerva sighed, "yes, I'm sure you've come across more change than I have though, seeing how long you've lived for. Though one can only accept it, or at least if they don't like it try to make the best of it by changing the course."
Minerva looked at Rigoletto, she wondered what it felt like for him being alive all this time. She wondered how easily he could read others, what feelings he still allowed himself to feel.

Rigoletto heard her words "Yes there has been much change though, it has a knack for repeating its self, there has been little time that there has not been some form of a war going on in this world between two sides. Of course the people change, the places change but humanity in its self is the same, with the same nature to want for more at least enough see & act in such a way that keeps these wars going on"

Minerva nodded, "yes, though I believe we weren't at war during our early years here, if that is correct. At least the war between the Death Eaters and the Order mainly. I can still remember those first years with only a selected memory. I wonder how you keep everything so ordered in your mind, and it just doesn't blend all together, though I may be wrong." Minerva stated looking at Rigoletto.

Rigoletto looked at Minerva "True but, such times did not last it would of been nice if the war had ended before it started but, things happened & the war went on & yet we are once more forced to face it again, a new face with the same wants in the end" He looked away a moment before he looked at Minerva "There are times it wants to blend as you can it, for much appears to always be the same but, there is much that keeps its self in order on when & where events took place, some things it has to think on more then others but, with time I was something to work on"

Minerva looked at Rigoletto and there was a great silence after he had spoken as she debated what she should say, or rather how she should say it.
"I have been wondering for quite some time what had happened to you during the war. I looked for you at first, but then realized you were gone." Minerva paused again, "of course even if you don't reveal the reasons why I do hope you will be there next time if nothing else of importance arises."

Rigoletto did not miss the silence, he was unsure what Minerva was thinking, he was not going to press to know even if he could. Though as time passed she spoke, it was clear that even if she said it simple she was up set likely with him for just leaving, with out saying go bye.
He was unsure if he could tell he not that he feared the answer but, he had been a fool to let it happen. It was a mistake that in the end cost him greatly & robbed him of something that only marked him more of what he tried to hid.
Silents was present as he though on to answer or not "I have not real excuess of why I left with out a word, at least no reason that was life threatening as some would say. During the war, I was given a simply mission to stop it form beginning, to do it all one had to do was kill the D.E. leader Voldy. I was close to doing just that but, I found my self deceived by one that I though a could trust to the worst person, the one I hunted"
He waited a moment as he went on "Perhaps if I had not failed more would of been spared but, I did & because of it the Dark Lord was able to harm & kill many with his followers. So after if found my self betrayed & rated out to the Dark Lord, my attack was expected & stopped I should of known it was to simply but, my mind wanted it over, in some ways I though that being what I was nothing could touch me. As horrible as it is to say, it took time for me to feel such ideas or thoughts but, only a moment to find that I was mistaken"
He took another moment before he went on "True I could not so simple be killed but, the Dark Lord had something else in mind worse then simple death. I was was left after the encounter, for death if it would take me or course it did not & I was left with knowing that not only I failed but, the Dark Lord had marked me, making it more hard not to be seen as what I tried to hid & had hidden. True none really knew me to be what I was but, they would know me to be different & seen more of a beast then human. I could not at the time face the people, I knew I failed, for I felt the weight of the failing, even when I lay on the cold ground, to live with what happened & being unable to stop it or change it. Most the battle was over by the time I could move & by that time to me the grief was to much, as well the shame, so I left feeling it was best exile my self for my failings & be left to lick my wounds, a reminder of that night"
