Balder couldn't help but blush. "Well, I did learn from the best." she smiled at him. She greatly admired Snape, and had since her very first class with him. Her third year, she had started to develop a crush on the potions master, but Balder always knew the chances of them together were slim to none.

Snape heard her words & nodded lightly to them before he spoke "I am glade in my lessons that you took well to them & learned so much" He only hopped others did as well, since at times he might question if students did or did not.

"All it takes is to actually listen to what you're saying...then again, I've always had a high comprehension level." She chuckled before checking her watch; she still had a bit of time before she needed to add the next ingredient to her potion.

Snape heard Balders words he smirked before he spoke "I suppose it was simple for those, I did not come of as being to hard & such" He was sure that it was the case, at least in some cases.

She gave him a small smile "I never thought you were too hard, I thought you were a great teacher, I still do. I wouldn't be here if I didn't think you were." It was one of her tamer thoughts she had about him.

Snape chuckled at her words "Yes, but it did help with you being in my own house, but it is still nice to hear all the same" He waited to see what she would say next, or where it would go next any way.

"A lot of people used to say I belonged in Gryffindor instead of Slytherin." Balder chuckled as well. "I never really cared for being in once house over the other...probably because I was raised that stuff like that didn't really matter."
