Jamie arrived at their mission, her coat whipping in the sudden cold, strong wind. Her hand clenched on the wand before she glanced over at Erin. Are you ready? she asked, raising an eyebrow. This coming stunt would definitely throw Aldar off her back, and possibly even gain more of Erin's loyalty, if that was possible.
Jamie kept her wand out as they moved towards the dark, abandoned apartment building in front of them. Windows were busted out, and the mortar between the bricks had begun to crumble out of the walls. Jamie's eyes narrowed as a shadow crossed in front of a window around the third story. "Cover me, if you would, Erin. she said, stepping forward into the building, the door already gone from the actions of some random vandal.
Jamie stepped inside the building, the wooden floor creaking and complaining under her feet. She stepped forward quietly, jerking her head towards the stairs. Jamie crept forward going up the stairs slowly. The floor above them groaned, dust floating down. Jamie glanced at Erin, then the ceiling, putting her finger to her lips. Jamie crept up the second flight of stairs, before peeking around the corner into the first apartment room. A red jet flew at her face, and she jerked back behind the corner. She glanced at Erin with a small smirk and a cocked eyebrow before she started forward, charging into the room, letting spells fly as curses came barreling at her..

Erin apparated next to Jamie, her hand on her wand ready for anything. She'd learned a lot with Jamie over the past few weeks, and this was only yet another challenge. She was dressed comfortably, in a pair of skinny jeans, with a fitted red sweater under a white coat with knee high flat boots to polish off the look. Her hair was up twisted into a braided updo, but the pieces that had been left out or had fallen out were whipping around her face in the wind.
"I"m ready," Erin said without a second though. She lived for the hunt now, always after the next criminal, and more than willing to match curses and spells with whomever came her way. Erin covered Jamie's back her own wand at the ready as she scanned her surroundings. She'd seen better, and she'd seen worse, but this was getting to be the norm for where they would find the most troublesome witches or wizards whom they were chasing.
Erin nodded her head in answer to Jamie as they entered the abandoned apartment building, the grip on her wand strong as she looked left and right before checking over her shoulder. She'd been caught once by a curse coming at her from behind, she'd ended up at st.mungo's and had sworn that would never happen again. Erin crept up the stairs with Jamie, and was right beside her jumping back behind the corner for cover at the jet of red came toward them.
Erin smiled at Jamie's crocked eyebrow, "ready as ever," she said softly under her breath and followed Jamie out into the room deflecting the curses as they flew at her.

Jamie stood her ground in the middle of the room, deflecting the spells coming from behind a book shelf that had a shield spell around it. It seemed simple, just one criminal, who was wanted dead or alive, the former Jamie didn't have a problem committing to. She smirked as a blasting spell she had sent busted through the shield spell, but was caught off guard by the shock wave that followed it. She stumbled, twisting her ankle and falling backwards across the small room, stumbling back before she caught herself on the doorframe. She snarled, gingerly placing weight on the ankle. "Bastard," she spat, before several more people emerged from behind objects, masks that were the trademarks of Death Eaters covering their faces.
Immediately, Jamie grabbed Erin. "Come on, let's get out of here. They're too much..." she urged, twisting to disapperate , then stumbling on her ankle as she failed. She frowned. "Antidisapperation jinx... Get out of here, now," she said quickly, shoving Erin towards the door as she flicked her wand, throwing up a shield just in time to block a stunning spell. She cringed as an explosion blew her shield spell apart and the Death Eaters swarmed towards them, about 8 or 9 coming at them, wands raised, one actually shooting a stunner straight at Jamie...

Erin was firing her own curses at the person on the far side of the room, deflecting them as they came at her. She felt the shock wave from the blasting spell that Jamie had cast, but managed to keep her ground and only stumbled backwards. She saw Jamie fall, and was immediately by her side, throwing counter jinxes and blocking spells as she offered Jamie a hand to help her stand.
It was obvious Jamie was hurt, but Erin couldn't asses how bad with spells flying in the air above her. She flinched as one went wide of her and Jamie and shook the entire half of the room they were on, causing drywall to crumple and start to fall. Erin looked up just in time to see where that spell had come from and saw a group of Death Eaters emerging into the room. "Bloody hell," Erin cussed.
Erin felt Jamie grab her and watched in horror as the Death eaters started to get closer. The disapperate that Jamie had tried had failed, and Erin felt Jamie push her away. She stumbled to one knee trying to fight Jamie to stay closer as she tossed more counter jinx's just trying to keep the curses being sent at them at bay. Erin grabbed at Jamie and tried her own diapperating charm only to realize she couldn't either. "Damnit," she said as the Death eaters advanced on them again.
"I'm not leaving without you," Erin said stubbornly. She saw the stunner spell coming at Jamie and tried to throw out a deflection, but that left her open to attack, and Erin felt herself being tossed through the air as she got hit with a hex herself.

Jamie growled, cursing under her breath as Erin stubbornly refused. "Just go! I'm right behind you!" she growled, stumbling as the floor right behind her heels collapsed. She fell to her knees, catching herself on her palms. She twisted, deflecting several curses before she heard a crunch and turned to see Erin laying against a wall.
Jamie flinched as she scrambled up, struggling now to to deflect the spells that threatened to hit her everytime she drew a breath. She skidded to a halt near the girl's unconscious body. She shook her lightly, glancing back and flicking her wand, shutting the door for a moment. "Erin...Come on Erin, wake up..." she urged, just before the door blew into shards, splinters and chunks burying themselves in the drywall. Jamie flinched and cried out as a few punctured her wool coat and jammed into her skin and back. She raised her wand only to see a pair of stunning spells racing towards her...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jamie awoke slowly, her body throbbing in agony. She began to shift, only to be restricted by bindings and something digging into her back, pushing the splinters in her back further in. She flinched, then slowly opened her eyes, finding herself in a dark room, tied to a chair. She shifted slightly, then hissed in pain as the splinters in her back moved and dug in.
Jamie glanced around, then caught sight of Erin right next to her, also tied to a chair. Erin!....Erin! Wake up! Erin, wake up!" she hissed quietly, gritting her teeth as she rocked her chair slightly, ramming into Erin's in hopes of waking her up.....

Erin felt her body hit the wall, and heard the cracks of bones as her small frame wrapped itself around a door frame. She only had moments to register the agonizing pain before she was falling to the ground, the side of her head bouncing off of the hard flooring, then the world went black.
___________________________________________________________________________________
Erin felt something bumping into her and it made her head wobble, which made her feel like she was going to puke. She didn't want to wake up out of the black pain free bliss she was in, knowing that if she opened her eyes and her mind that the pain of her broken bones would wash over her in a flood of agony. But the bumping was insistent, and someone was talking to her. Jamie? Was that Jamie? Was she okay?
Gingerly, Erin opened her eyes, the light was out which made things better, but her head still pounded from the knock her got and her body felt like it had been run over by a train. "I-" Erin paused trying to calm her stomach of the sudden nausea. "I'm awake" she finally managed taking deep breaths to calm herself. "Are you hurt?" Erin asked her voice barely above a whisper as she felt her head was going to explode.

One glance at Erin told Jamie that yes, she was in pain. Jamie frowned, unhappy that her apprentice might seriously be injured. Pain was to be inflicted, yes, but no permanent or serious injuries. Well, heads would roll later once Jamie was finished with this coup.
Jamie frowned. "I've had worse. Are you alright? How are you feeling? Anything broken? she asked, eyeing her apprentice with a critical eye, looking her over for any obvious injuries. The splinters in her back dug in anew as she settled her chair and looked at her apprentice with a serious eye. "Erin, you do know what's coming, don't you? I want you to prepare yourself. They are going to ask you questions, and if you don't answer, which I hope you'll refrain from answering of course, they will torture you... And they will be creative... possibly even threatening me, and probably most definitely torturing me, and no matter what happens to me, if you can go and get out of here, don't worry about me, get yourself out. I can worry about myself... But they will target you because you are younger, and these people know who I am, and what your connection is to me if they have done any of their homework. I want you to prepare yourself for this..Because that is what's going to happen, most unfortunately," Jamie said with a frown, eyeing Erin with concern.

Erin closed her eyes and it seemed to calm a good part of the turmoil that was going on in her head. What actually hurt? Her head more so than anything. Her body was bruised and stiff from the flying crash she took, but it was when her head had crashed against the floor that had hurt the most and caused the most damage. "I'm fine," Erin said with her eyes still closed. "Just a bit of a headache," she said trying to brush the subject off.
Erin knew what was coming next, even as Jamie was speaking telling her all the things that were going to happen. She'd understood all of this moments after she'd opened her eyes and realized she was tied to a chair. "I understand," Erin said softly, knowing she was the weaker link, the one with less practice that the Death Eaters would target. Erin kept telling herself over and over in her head that she had to be strong, and that any information the death eaters wanted was worth dying over, should that be the case.
Erin opened her eyes again and looked at Jamie, noticing her frown. "I'm strong," she said, "and I've been trained well. I won't tell them anything." Erin looked Jamie straight in the eye to show her the truth and the power behind her words. Her gaze darted to the far side of the room however when she heard the creaking of a door opening.

Jamie nodded. "You'll do well, I believe in you..." she said quietly, before the door swung open, banging loudly against the wall behind it. The footsteps of a tall Death Eater, his face revealed, echoed through the room, and Jamie stared up hatefully at him. "Johnson..." she growled. The man smirked. "Smith.. I have to say, you seemed to have lost your touch... Or is it because you've been hindered?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at Erin. Jamie's eyes narrowed. "Focus on me Johnson... Or is your attention span that short? Cut to the chase... she spat, glaring at him. The man grinned, circling around behind Erin, running a hand over her head as though petting her. A small, sympathetic snarl ran across Jamie's face.
"I want the details of all the Heads of the Ministry, and the Minister's security....and that's just the start," he said with a dark grin as two others came in. Jamie cocked an eyebrow. "I'm afraid that I can't tell you that... And you know that..." she said, staring aggressively back. He shrugged. "Suit yourself.... What about you, pretty... Will you talk? Will you talk before I have to make your precious mentor talk?" he asked, whispering loudly in her ear as he glanced at Jamie....

Erin sat still not getting the chance to respond to Jamie before the tall Death Eater walked into the room. His face was revealed in the dim light, but Erin didn't recognize him. However, clearly Jamie did. Erin cast her eyes down as Johnson pointed out the fact the she was weaker than Jamie, and she was probably the reason why the got caught. She would never live this down if they got out and Jamie was hurt or worse.
Erin flinched as Johnson ran his hand over her head like she was some pet. She glared up at him, forcing herself to focus through the haze and pain that was clouding her mind. God, her head was pounding. She looked up as two more Death Eaters came into the room. They were just as big if not bigger than Johnson, and Erin knew that whatever was coming their way was going to hurt. "I won't tell you anything," Erin said bravely as Johnson whispered in her ear that he was going to hurt Jamie.

Jamie nodded slightly to herself, winking to Erin to reassure her as the man stood, turning his back on them. "Well then, it would seem that your apprentice really doesn't care for you, Smith....Now, seeing as you've left me no choice..." he said, smirking. Jamie quirked an eyebrow. "Leave you any choices? How could I ever when I had none?" she asked impishly, the corner of her mouth twisting in a sour smirk as she looked up at him. "Enough, Smith...Let's get down to business.." he growled, pulling his wand out from under his coat. Jamie continued to stare at him, challenging him, yet counting on him. It had taken quite a bit of persuasion to convince him to do this for her, along side swearing to him that there would be no repercussions so long as he did not go too far. He stared back at her, his question confirmed as he blinked and she continued to stare. He flicked his wand, and Jamie caved in to the pain, crying out as her muscles tightened and writhed, the splinters in her back mild annoyances compared to this pain. The spell intensified for a moment, and she screamed, hating how weak she sounded and felt.
After a moment, the spell faded, and Jamie slowly swam to the surface of being able to comprehend what was going on around her. Johnson was back in Erin's ear, whispering to her while keeping his eyes one Jamie. "You know how to end her pain, Donahue...Just tell me the security details..." he said, a smirk playing across his face as Jamie met his eyes...

Erin closed her eyes trying to turn away as Jamie screamed. It would end, she told herself. They would stop torturing her in order to ask more questions, that's how these things worked. Erin took a few deep breaths and counted to 10 slowly in her head. Jamie's screams seemed to go on forever, and Erin knew all she had to do to make them stop was tell them some information. But she couldn't.
Erin jumped, her eyes flying open as she felt Johnson behind her again and at her ear. "I can't tell you that," she said her voice shaky but brave. She was intimidated, but far from weak at this moment. But then it was easy to be brave when you weren't the one screaming in pain.

Johnson straightened up, laughing as he circled back around to Jamie. "Dear dear...Either you have taught this one extraordinarily well, or she really doesn't care about you..." he said with a grin. Jamie shrugged, the motion painful and sending throbbing racing throughout her entire body. "She learns fast" she said, her voice hoarse already. THe man chuckled, slowly resting his hands on the back of her chair, then on Jamie's shoulders. "Yes, well, she doesn't seem to be catching on to this game, and what the rules are, does she?" he chuckled in Jamie's ear now, and a small snarl ran across her lips. "I am quite sure Erin knows this game well enough, just the same as your and I...Don't you, Erin?" she said quietly. "Very well.. Let's play again then, shall we?" Johson said, placing his wand against her neck. Immediately, it felt as though fire was coursing through her veins. Jamie fell back into the pain, screaming.
Johnson glanced over at Erin, before nodding towards the other two Death Eaters, who turned her chair to face Jamie's. "What you see here is the effects of the infernus curse... We can't have her getting used to the Cruciatus curse, you see..." he explained, a twisted smirk darkening his face..

Erin could see the pain Jamie was in as she shrugged. She said nothing, not trusting her voice to not betray her. She could tell them anything, it didn't have to be true, she could make something up if it came to it. Erin's eyes rested on Johnson's hands which were on Jamie's shoulders. "I know how to play this game," Erin said to Jamie, trying to communicate that she wasn't close to breaking. She would be strong.
Erin Heard Jamie screaming before her chair was turned to face her mentor. She looked away, not wanting to see Jamie in such a vulnerable state. She'd known the other curse to be the Cruicatus curse, she'd seen it before when Jamie had used it to capture an escapee not that long ago. But this one, this was one she'd yet to see in person. "I won't tell you anything," Erin hissed between her teeth.

Jamie let out a final yelp as Johnson intensified the spell, then fell unconscious, at least to any observer. Her body still stung and burned, ached and throbbed, and she let her head fall back over the back of her chair, trying not to flinch as the splinters in her back dug into her agonized muscles.
Johnson removed his wand from her neck. He studied his wand for a moment before looking at Erin. "Well, it would seem you're the only one left that has the answers for the moment. Care to answer my question yet? Or am I really going to have to... exhaust my resources?" he asked, glancing at Jamie and grinning. her would 'revive' her soon if need be to break this girl for his leader.
