[Professor Severus Snape]

"It is not to bad for in many ways staying here insures that students will, be safe when they stay at Hogwarts for the Holidays" He would be great to go home but, the only one he would spend time with would be Alexis & he had no idea what she had plained, after all she was grown up now, even if he saw here as a little girl still in some ways.

Layla nodded, "that is true, but I still believe it stinks, especially if a Professor or staff member has a family or plans for over the Holidays."

Layla looked up at Snape, "speaking of holidays are you going to the Halloween Party that Professor Rigoletto is hosting?" Layla wondered if there would be a lot of people going or and if any other staff were going.

Snape listed to her words she made since with her words "Perhaps in ways it does but, one must also insure that those that do not go home for the holidays are keep safe, so it might not be plesent to think about but, in ways it is worth giving up to insure the students are safe"

With her question he had not though much on it but, he as sure he would go after all if he did ot then he would likly have to answer why he had not at least come to say hello. "I will though, I am not sure how long I will be there & your self?"

"I think I will go as well, don't know how long I will stay either. It sounds like it should be fun though, I've never been to a masquerade." Layla said as she thought about what she would wear, and what she would do there particularly if she had no friends her age at the moment.

Snape heard her words "Then I look forward to seeing you there, it will be intresting to see if we can find each other why there" It would be fun since everyone would be in costume & mask, so if anyone found anyone would be intresting. "Any idea what you will goes as?" Not that she would tell him if she did but, it would be intresting to see what she had in mind if she knew yet.

Layla laughed, "that would ruin the point of trying to figure out who everyone is, wouldn't it? But, anyways I have no idea."

Layla decided because of her first point that it would be pointless to ask Snape what he was going as. Plus, she thought it would be fun not knowing until the party, and if she couldn't figure it out then maybe not until after the party.

Snape heard her words & smirked "Yes, it does make it lose some of the fun but, it will be intresting to see if we can find each other, should be fun ether way we can see who all show up for the event" Walking on Snape looked at Layla "I look forward to seeing you there" He was unsure who would all show up but, it would be fun to see who did & what they came as.

Layla nodded, "Same here." Layla continued to walk feeling like any more thanks towards Professor Snape for helping her would just embarass them both. She was excited for the party, and she knew that at least one friendly face would be there, not including the host of course.

"It will be intresting to see what Professor Carillon-Dra has in store, in many ways I think he enjoys giving the partys, as well the company" One thing he knew of the man is he was diffrent, sent in his ways as most but, he was like few around today in his manor & ways of honor. "Will you bring a date to the party?"

[Layla Alderov]

"Yes, somehow it doesn't surprise me that he would. I think he likes the idea of being a host and attentive to his guests." Layla stated.

To Professor Snape's next question she chuckled, her ears turning slightly red from embarassment. "Ah, not at the moment. I didn't really think about that. Why?" Layla was tempted to ask Professor Snape if he was bringing a date but she felt that would be too personal for him. Besides he could be married and she might not even know, and that would just embarass her even further.

[Professor Severus Snape]

"I am sure that he does, for if he did not in some way I do not see him doing it" With her question to him he spoke "Just thought to ask" After all most people her are it was not fair fetched for them to have dates, thogut he knew if anyone dated Alexis & harmed her he would make there life a living hell.

[Layla Alderov]

Layla laughed slightly, "sorry if I don't fit into the normal student mold, I'm making things difficult for you." She was joking of course, she could care less what Professor Snape thought about the state of her social life.

[Professor Severus Snape]

"Hardly, I have delt with worse then you" After all he had, with all the students he had been around but, he did not mean it to be an insult ether but, he wanted to show that he could give it as well as take it. He would wait to see what she would say next with his words or if she would take it the wrong way.

[Layla Alderov]

Layla laughed again, "thanks. I should strive harder to make it the top of the worst student list then." Layla smiled looking at Professor Snape.

It was nice to joke about these things, it was nice that for once she felt she could keep her emotions stable.

"You have a ways to go if you plain to be the top & you might not like the out come of getting to the top" He would be intrested to see if she tryed even one in his house, she might not like the out come that he would be forced to deal up. He knew that it was not likly for it she plained to be at the top she would of started long before now.
