Layla was surprised that Profesor Snape didnt realize she was joking. "I was only kidding Professor Snape. There is nothing at the top for me, I will gladly let my fellow students take care of that position." Layla continued walking, wondering what Professor Snape was going to ask or talk about next.

Snape did not miss her words "Yes, I know though other then braging rights it would not be much fun, as for your fellow students they will keep not only me but, many of the other Professors on the watch" He was silent before he spoke again "Have you though any more to what you want to do with your life, when you leave Hogwarts?"

Snape listened to her words "I would not call it limiting your self but, to have some idea of what you want to do when you leave before you have to could help to see that you get a job faster in the field then if you want tell once you leave Hogwarts" It was true for most that had some idea on what they wanted to do in there life, when they left Hogwarts most went on to do it & those that had not desided did not always find anything do to so they when form job to job.

Snape listened to her words "Perhaps that might have to deal with that you can make chooses with out the fear of your family so quick, to say somthing, on the matter or perhaps you just feel in some way you need a break away form everything" He could not be sure for any number of reasons could be the case for this & he was not going to really press for any true answer form her on the matter.

She had no idea what to talk with Professor Snape on next, she seemed at a loss for words. She knew he had been around for the last war, but she didn't think it would be wise to bring that up, for she knew a lot of people had died, and she didn't want to open an old wound.

Snape said nothing to her words desiding to leave them for, there was no reason to go on with the topic if she did not know. So he was silent not sure at the moment what to speak of but, had the feeling that she might wish to speak of somthing so he would give her the chance to do so. The most hecould do was listen, after that he could deside what to do & what would be best to do.
